No way will CV get ROY over Chris Paul...
But those three shots by James just totally convinced me that the Raptors should not resign him in the offseason.

O..M..G that kid is a beast!

48 and 9 on 63% shooting. Is that the most points a rookie has put up in a while, I don't remember hearing about a rookie putting up 48 or more, does anyone want to research that.

I would've broke my TV if CV31 scored 50, if Bosh was still in the game we might have came close to a win.BTW, i think Mitchell threw his gum to the floor then got ejected.

What sucks about it though is that he couldv'e easily had 50+ if it weren't for the chucker that is our point guard..... Charlie was red hot yet that damn James decided not to pass it to him and instead, take 3 consecutive ill-advised 3 pointers....

This is a really good sign though.... who would've thought, before the season started, that CV would drop 48 points in a game?

All you Villanueva doubters from June, where are you all at? That's right, 48/9 on 63% shooting. Bosh and CV31 are going to be a hell of a duo for years to come.

Amazing offensive performance by CV. Showed off his repotoire of offensive moves and his all around skills in tonights game.

The team im facing in my fantasy league has Bosh and CV on their team, and its pretty close in the points and fg categories, with the playoffs next week and this week being a huge week for me. Anyways, so their was a posistive for me when Bosh was said not to return, but it ended up that CV scored more than what Bosh and him would most likely score in the Bucks game if Bosh would of played, and he shot at a ridiculious high percentage. So because of of CV and Bosh's injury I might be screwed for next weeks playoffs. Just felt like sharing this story.

Oh well, I'd take CV's performance tonight as a Raps fan over any fantasy benefits I would of gotten if he didn't have this huge game anyways.

Hehe, I have Bosh, Villanueva and James on my team. That 20-32 really boosted my prospects of winning in FG%.

Bosh will always be the foundation for this team. Villanueva might score more, but Bosh's consistency will always make him the leader. Man, our future is looking amazing.

Mike James is all about the money and the contract thats why he's hogging and not passing to anybody. Hopefully Raptors don't resign him because Bosh said he likes him. How about some praise for Babcock for selecting Villanueva?? lol...

    Rob Babcock is the man!!!

No really ... Any truth to that rumor that went around saying Babcock wanted Antoine Wright with the 1st pick and Embry / someone else vetoed it for CV3?

There could've been some truth to that, but there also could've been truth to the rumours that Araujo was McCloskey's pick, not Babcock's.

Bottom line, the gm will always be responsible for the picks he makes. Despite any rumours, he should always get the credit or the blame.

He picked Araujo so he deserves the blame for that, and by that token, since he also picked Charlie, he deserves the credit for that one too.

Jeez. We just made Charlie Villanueva look like Kevin Garnett. Nice game for the rook, very very nice. I hate our defense.

no...chris paul will get it unless charlie scores 50 pts on every remaining game

just because hornets have better record (play in West too is a factor)
and also..charlie scored 48 after bosh is injured
not to say it's a fluke
    but it's certainly a factor

    bosh injured...charlie become option #2
mike james must be blind not to feed him the ball

Meh.. you guys got the win so that's all that really matters.

btw, just wondering, what's the reasoning for Stotts sticking Bogut and Magloire on the bench late in games? It's obvious that we're one of the worst, if not THE worst, interior defenders in the league and guys like Bogut and especially Magloire usually have their way w/ us inside. I just feel your team should beat us easily if they just pound it inside, but instead, the games end up closer than they should... Stotts has done this the past two games we faced the Bucks and i'm just wondering why...

The best way to explain any head-scratching move that Stotts makes is to simply say that Terry Stotts is a moron. Check below my sig. I hate him. [IMG]
