Yeah, I would bet good money that that ain't happening. Masai sees Barnes as a centerpiece.

I would love Barnes but come on, if OG has any chance of resigning, trade for him and two firsts from the Raptors. We can take back Young and Boucher too. OG is a great fit with Scoot and Sharpe too and he is way better than any piece the Heat are offering.

Still think Toronto is our best hope for acquiring a high caliber wing that can be sold as a bluechip prospect.

    Barnes + picks + fillers. I'm down.

Wow Ringer article says we would get an unproteced Raptors 2028 pick and 2029 swap. I assumed this would have no picks. I'd still do the deal for no picks, with the picks its a no brainer. I'd close this deal tomorrow and then we can have 3 months to laugh at Miami.

I'd strongly prefer Barnes over OG. 21 vs 26. Much cheaper contract. What a great trio of consecutive drafted players to have with Scoot and Sharpe.

Also if trading for Dame from Toronto's end OG makes more sense. They'd want the vet more ready to win now.

This will never happen. Those incoming players are too tall for the Blazers

Are OG or Siakam eligible for extensions? If I'm Toronto I try to get those booked before completing the Lillard trade. After a Lillard trade Toronto would be in such a win now place they'd have to overpay those guys in free agency.

I highly doubt Masai would trade Scottie Barnes.

That would be a home run for Cronin though.

Boston or Toronto. Boston if you have a third team. Toronto if it's straight across.

We're talking about Damian Lillard. Scottie Barnes is not off the table

Dame will gain millions going to Miami (taxes) and lose millions going to Toronto (taxes). No way is he going quietly.

And he can lose even more millions by sitting out.

And he can put all those millions into repairing his house when those hurricanes hit every year.

Can we get Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl from Toronto?

Toronto escaped a Mortal Kombat finishing move letting Fred Vanfleet walk. The Raptors have a talented squad with a new head coach. I have doubts they will trade half their team for Lillard.

I don't think they would have any trouble replacing those five except for Barnes.

Scottie is a big exception. 6'8" future All-Stars don't grow on trees in the NBA.
