He definitely fills the need for a perimeter defender and fits our timeline much better. The problem will be convincing DET to part with him. Seems like the kind of hard nosed, hard working player coaches love, and in this case the coach is also the GM. BNM
On the flip side, he's a UFA next summer! I don't quite remember how it works, but if we traded for him this season would we have Bird Rights to be able to re-sign him? Or would he have needed to be on the team longer in order for that? If we were able to re-sign I'd definitely trade for him. And because of his contract status he shouldn't command market value.
Then my hope is that Vonleh makes a speedy recovery and shows marked improvement so that he's a desirable asset for DET! Then do something like Vonleh/Aminu/protected pick for Bradley. At least BOS won't be able to make a better offer for him!
