I'll give you credit, you did drop Copp's name weeks ago...good call there.

We will beat the Pens in round 1. I am very confident on that.

Where is that? If that is the case, they should sign Copp immediately.

Great deadline for Drury. 4 American boys!

Still waiting to see the final price on Copp but love the player. C/W versatility, plays a playoff style game and very good on draws. Will be interesting to see if Drury views him as a longer term piece and looks to resign him as a Strome replacement. He plays the type of game we need down the middle but end of day not sure he has the skillset for 2C or will mesh with Panarin. Either way, this is a great move for a run and will be a very good tryout to see where he fits in for the future. Goodrow-Copp-Chytil third line? He'd also fit well with Kakko when healthy.

Always liked Vatrano. Had him in fantasy a few years ago because he shot and hit like a machine. Got pushed down the lineup in FLA but he was very cheap. Have to like it at that price.

Braun is a very solid vet for the third pair. I hope we dont end up with a Nemeth-Braun pairing, but seeing how run down Fox looks lately any insurance back there is a good thing. I love Schneider too and this experience is key for him, but he has hit the rookie wall past few games. For a 2023 mid rounder, this was a no brainer.

Tyler Motte wasnt a need at this point, but he hits everything and hopefully ensures Greg McKegg never leaves the press box again. Motte/Hunt/Rooney/Reaves is a great mix of guys for a playoff time 4th line. He's a less skilled Blais, but plays much heavier than Hunt. He'll be noticeable when hes out there.

I like our chances boys. The Atlantic is very strong, but we only need to see one of those teams and hopefully they all beat the shit out of each other beforehand.

Rakell will help the Pens but the Rangers are the stronger team on paper. Better than the Caps too.

Agreed - Rangers will win in round 1 assuming health.

I love the 3rd and 4th lines now. Add Kakko back and we are deep, tough, and gritty. Braun is a good add on D also - I am assuming he can play LD and pair with Schneider.

Dreger says "looks like picks and a prospect" but still no details anywhere. It was reported earlier this morning that WPG was sitting on an offer of two seconds but hoping for a 1st.

Classic retards on HF praying it's not Zac Jones. We already have one small fuck on defense in Fox. No way midget Jones every plays here. I swear, those dumbasses never learn on that site.

I think Jones can play here depending what the rest of the pairs look like, but given what we've seen from Drury he probably agrees with you. We definitely cannot have both Jones and Lundkvist playing here though, along with Fox.

If we trade Jones, I hope Drury has identified Copp as a guy to be resigned. Id hate to lose Jones for a rental.

I think Chytil's involved, as someone on the roster has to go.

Copp should be resigned. He's fn perfect here. Chytil can be moved to wing short term. Than Strome can be let go.

Chytil could be involved but would be contrary to what Dreger reported of picks and a prospect.

Yeah, but with Rooney and Kakko coming back plus these 3 new guys i don't how they'll all fit. Brodzinski and McKegg will be gone but i think they still need to open a space.

True, assuming full health and Chytil still here two guys will end up in the press box - probably rotating two of either Vatrano, Mott or Hunt. However 1. from what I've heard Rooney still isn't close, and 2. when has "full health" ever happened in a playoff run haha.

If it's Chytil, Copp is almost sure to be resigned I would think.

Copp conditions. Conditions are a 2nd that can turn into a first for winning two rounds in the playoffs and Copp play 50% of the playoff games. and another 2 that can be wpg option in 22 or 23.

    Also. Plus a 2023 5th to Wpg for a 2023 6th to NYR

And Barron is the prospect, not Chytil.

It's Morgan Barron. Plus our two seconds, one of which can become a first.

Great kid. No room and with Copp now in the fold becomes less valuable for what he brings.

Gallant had an issue with Barron. Probably because he was really smart. Barron is a good kid and prospect. Drury gave up a lot of picks but I'm guessing he will get some back when he deals Jones and Lundkvist.
