My best shot at the lineup is:

    Kreider-Zibanejad-Roslovic
    Panarin-Trocheck-Lafreniere
    Cuylle-Wennberg-Kakko
    Vesey-Goodrow-Edstrom

Brodz/Rempe. Brodz might slide in first if Lavi doesnt like what he sees with Big Ed.

First line will play with speed and off the rush, Roslovic could be a good fit there. Could also see trying him on 3 first.
Second line essentially our top scoring line now.
Third line a very good 200 foot game and a heavier, cycle game. Kakko fits better with these 2.
Fourth line is underwhelming, Vesey is a stud in that role but that's about it. Edstrom is a very good prospect but we will see how he adapts to playoff hockey. Goodrow is cooked.

This team will go as far as Kreider, Zib and Panarin up front take us.

It might be underwhelming but I disagree that Roslovic and Wennberg are "whatever" players.

And one more thing - not absolving Drury at all, but if Kakko hasnt played like an absolute bitch the past two seasons and seized his opportunity the way Laffy did this year, we aren't even talking about Buchnevich or Guentzel. Kakko would be locked on RW1 and we would be thrilled with the depth adds.

A lot of this team's personnel problems can be traced to that guy busting thus far. Up to Drury to solve it, but still needs to be said.

TB gets Dumba AND a 7th round pick for a 5th round pick, and we get Ruhwedel for a 4th. You go Drury. TB with no cap space or prospects adds Dumba and Duclair.

Agreed, but as you said, on Drury to solve it. And doesn't change today/this trade DL joke (again he had how long to make moves since Chytil and Wheeler were out)? Not coming at you at all, don't misread it...:)...just very frustrated. We are on the same page.

I pretty much agree with your lines, although I may have Rempe in over Edstrom. Funny that he just signs Brod for 2-years one way deal, and now he is scratched...AGAIN NO PLAN.

And I agree with you, Ros and Wenn are better than whatever, but they are bottom 6 guys, not coming close to moving the needle and don't fill the role next to Z and K.

And, this team has no shot to get past round 2, which they may not even get to if they have to play TB or a hot team in round 1. At best they are capped at round 2.

Need Goodrow to give one last push before he's bought out.

Gotta love what Vegas did again this year. Granted they have been playing shitty the last week or so but there is a team that understands how to build a winning culture. Have to respect their creativity and willingness to take risks.

NO SHOT!!! The guy has ONE goal all season. Zero chance he has any push, all he does is kill the line he is on. Way overpaid since the second Drury signed him. And hopefully he'll be bought out this summer, but who knows for sure. He could be deadweight at $3.6M for another season (although I do think he'll be gone).

Can you believe Goodrow has 3 years left on his contract after this year. Unreal, what a terrible deal.

5th highest AAV forward, 9th highest AAV on the whole team (not including Chytil).

I wonder why he deteriorated so rapidly, he's not all that old.

Chuck has wanted to piss away our picks and prospects every season since chat boards existed. They need to give Jones a chance elsewhere next season. I’m hoping Berard gets called up. Fourth line looks to be Vesey-Goodrow-Edstrom. That I can roll with post season.

No clue why they or any team didn’t get Sturm.

Maybe at least the team will be a little less leaky defensively now.

I would have either traded the 25th +/- pick in the draft, or not thrown away four picks like they did for no reason. Don't half a** it. Either go, or don't and sell. Seeing how it played out, I am as bothered by that as I am clinging to a late 1st round pick in a weak draft.

That would require a plan though, and we know about that...

Not defending Chuck but I don’t understand you. In one breath you piss and moan like a kid in Target whose parents won’t buy him a toy about how this team has one 1 Cup in 84 years then in the next breath say we need to hold onto every possible draft pick. You are exactly what this team is. Half in and half out. We either need to trade picks for the here and now or trade stars to acquire picks to build for the future. Trying to do both is why this team hasn’t won.

That 4th line isn’t doing shit. We basically are the same team prior to trade deadline, which wouldn’t have been terrible except that 2 of our main competitors in the East got much better, and we have seen how this team has had to battle with them already this season. Now that they are both even better those battles could get tilted more towards them.

He's not a huge guy, plays a very tough game, lot of playoff miles - it was bound to happen. Chances are slim to none he is on the opening night roster next year. But hope he has some left in the tank for one last playoff run. Like it or not he will be playing an important role on the PK and playing important 3rd period minutes. I don't care if he doesnt score if he does that well.

Edstrom sent down, I figured Rempe had the edge on him due to the physical element he adds. Not sure which way Lavy will go for the 12th forward, will it be Rempe or Brod? I would lean Rempe, but we'll find out tonight.

It's funny how last year many of this year's Drury haters insisted on Gallant being the problem and all this team needed was a competent coach because the poor players were confused and forgot how to play hockey and the mean old ogre wouldn't coach them, they even met with Drury who was awesome to listen to these squishy pussies and agreed to fire one of the most successful coaches in Rangers' history. The reason the Rangers have constantly failed every postseason is they're physically dominated, they lost the Cup to an underpowered LA team that pushed pucks past Hank while the undersized defense begged for penalties. Many problems with today's roster fall back to that incompetent buffoon Gorton whose first 3 drafts gave the Rangers 2 pros then with 3 picks in 2018 only hit on one. JD was stupid to hitch his wagon to this hunch playing dumbass. No need to bother with Sather.
