Canes adding Kuznetsov for a 2025 3rd round pick. They keep adding.

Vatrano, Buch, Eberle, other Drury needs to add more, otherwise he never should have traded for Wennberg, and he should sell today. Trading picks for Wennberg and then playing it middle of the road makes absolutely no sense to me.

Agreed, he does now, but he has some talent, and the Canes are making their move to go for it. I give them credit for that.

They must be looking at trading Jones so I guess he'd be the spare.

Great Drury. Just piss away draft picks for players that will never play here

Sounds like they're looking at Reilly Smith too.

Not the defensive upgrade we needed. A total whatever player, that will be the 7th dman, and maybe can play a game here or there as needed. They have Harpur coming back, not that he is good, but why trade a 4th round pick for a whatever player. I sincerely question whether Drury can handle this job. 2 hours left to do something of impact, otherwise just pissed away 3 picks for no reason.

That's the needle mover we need to get Z and K going. Might as well save the picks Drury, no point in throwing them away.

Good lord people. It's a 4th rounder in 2027. We can easily recoup that in the next oh 3 YEARS if we need it.

Gets a veteran and actual player here with some playoff experience to come off the bench if a guy goes down, instead of throwing pee wee Zach Jones into a playoff series.

It is a low-key depth move that helps. A shiny new toy will be here soon.

Totally agree, but the key to all of this is the "new toy". Trading away any picks, even as minor or low value as a 4th round pick, is pointless if we don't improve more. Otherwise, it was a waste of assets, even if they are lower value assets.

Shesterkin was a 4th round pick. You should be bitch slapped for that comment. Plus, this dumbass GM has proven he has ZERO ability to acquire draft picks at this point. All Drury has done is prove he can piss away draft picks. Not acquire them. Throwing a 4th rounder away for a guy that sucks is moronic. I don't care what anybody says.

You're not bitch slapping anybody little boy.

Drury got a 1st for Lundkvist. Drury got 3 picks for Georgiev including two 3rds. You have no idea what you are talking about.

We're not throwing away a 4th rounder. It's a fourth rounder in a draft that is 4 DRAFTS AWAY. Not this year. Not next year. Not 2026. 2027. It can be recouped at any point.

Look up time value of money when you get a chance. Maybe you will learn something kid.

EDIT: 5th rounder for Reaves. Shall I continue?

ANOTHER EDIT: Brett Howden to Vegas for a mid rounder. I'm doing this all off the top of my head. Should I look up more?

Spare us you walking vagina. You don't throw away draft picks for any player that sucks and will never play here. That's why this loser organization has won one cup in 85 years. However, keep giving head to every GM that runs this team. Don't talk tough when you're fucking stupid on this team. Again, one cup in 85 years. By all means, keep sucking the dumbasses that run this team off.

It's ok dumpy, I think you embarrassed yourself enough here after deciding to go with “you walking vagina”.

Still waiting to see what else rolls in here. Copp and Motte were both announced at or around the deadline. I’d have to agree the trades made thus far would seem futile if more help doesn’t come up front. There’s either going to be a big splash, whether that’s a Buch or something out of left field, or a cheaper option where we keep the first.

Pacioretty talk is getting loud. He has a NTC so if he wants to come here should be a Tarasenko type price or less.

It’s sad to think that we have dumb fucking retards in our fanbase that are over 40 that continue to think the shitheads running this team know what they’re doing when they have won one Stanley Cup in 85 fucking years

I think the holdup with Vatrano is, the 1st gets you the rest of this year, but what else without giving up Perreault/BO or KK gets you that 2nd year of him. Jones or Robertson isn't enough, and we don't have anymore 2nds. That said, Anaheim is going nowhere in the next few years so they may as well take the 1st and whatever now.

Yeah Verbeek did this last year with Henrique. Unless someone overpays for the extra year he is content to just hold and get the first at the next deadline. I wouldn’t be surprised if Vatrano doesn’t move at all.

Still don’t think he’s the right guy, I’d rather stand pat then burn the assets on him. If it was just a first maybe. If you’re going to pony up for a guy with term make it work for Buch.

    Clock ticking
