No thanks means I would not be in favor of a trade. In the long run, it does not make us a better team. I'm not really sure where you get the idea I'm falling in love with some of the Blazers players based that I don't think Chicago would fall for it. That seems pretty far out there. It's a business. That's it. Anyone can be traded at any time. This one just doesn't make sense for either side.
We've talked about Noah what about Tyson Chandler? Chandler has a championship and the Knicks are wanting to blow it up to.
No question who is the better play (even defensively) at this stage of their careers: http://bkref.com/tiny/jIQ4O Would have loved Chandler 3 years ago. Now he is over 31 and getting hurt a lot. All while making 14 MIL a year. Bad combo.
Wait, my post? Or dumb trade idea, after dumb trade idea, posted every single day? I admit I went harsh on the guy. I can't think of a more destructive trade, though. The entire bench ... gone. I'll show more restraint next time, but this simply was not a legitimate trade idea, for many reasons already listed in this thread.
Pretend that salaries, or heck, even reality, isn't an issue, though. Then would you rather have Dwight Howard, er, Tyson Chandler over RoLo? :MARIS61: I'd rather have LeBron James over Nic Batum. Make it happen, Neil!
Well ya know if it means a championship this year I'd take him at 19 mill a year. The guy only has 2 more years and I think the Blazers could have a great shot so why not take a chance?
We maybe one piece away from getting to the WCFs but we are not a 31-plus year-old Chandler away from getting a Championship. Put together a trade that works financially to get him so we can have a chuckle (not at your expense of course).
I love Noah but I won't trade CJ for anyone. Also, does Noah really want to come off the bench? Lopez is working great as a starter.
Edit: never mind I'm staying out of this. I like papag and he would probably find my response offensive.
Really so CJ for Durant is a no, CJ for Lebron a no that is about as crazy as not trading Batum for George
I'm against moving CJ at the moment. Haven't seen enough and even you still don't know what you have with him. Yet, you are ready to part with him in such a deal. I like Joakhim but I guess this tells you what I'm thinking we have with CJ.
Who does Chicago get in this imaginary trade the helps them? For slightly more realism, Ropez should be in it instead of Robinson, Freeland, and Leonard. At that point, it's a great trade for Portland, and I'm still not sure why Chicago would do it.
I think Chicago is aiming for a quick rebuild and cant imagine them parting with Noah. I think they still believe they have something with Rose. Noah, Rose and one of these big time players coming out in the draft would put them back on the map very quickly.
