Denver is already loaded at PF with Millsap, Faried, Arthur, Lyles, Lydon... Why would they take Vonleh? The already have too many young players to try to develop as is, so why would they want a late 1st round pick? They only have 2 SFs on the roster with Chandler and Barton, so why would they try to trade Will?
No way....Vonleh is about to beast next to Nurk....no first rounder either....plus I think Denver is still sore from the last deal we did....I like Barton but not at the cost of a PF same age as Nurk and a first round pick next year....don't see it....Meyers Leonard and Pat Connaughton I'd swap though.
how many games has he started? annnnnd how much has he improved? yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah calm down on the nurk comparison but you can't see this because I am on ignore so yeah feelsbadman
There are some good free agents...Michael Beasley is available....Barbosa just got waived...if I brought in a vet I'd consider Gerald Henderson for the right price As to trades.....tough call...Chicago is rebuilding, Knicks are rebuilding, Mavs are in sort of retooling mode..
I don't even really like him but Hezonja would be an Olshey type move, plus we just lost 30 minutes we need to replace. Can't imagine his asking price being too prohibitive.
I'd trade Vonleh for Barton. I wouldn't throw in a first round pick, though. But then Denver wouldn't do it. Impasse.
Barton is one of the few players with a worse defensive rating than Dame and CJ last year. We could be the Nets East.
To Portland: Garrett Temple To Sacramento: Ed Davis Pat Connaughton Why? Sacramento: Saves them money this year and next year if Temple picks up his 18'-19' player option. Portland: Balances the roster w/needed skillset, opens up development minutes for Collins and Swanigan.
To Blazers: Willy Cully-Stein To Kings: Meyers Leonard. Portland dumps Nards. Kings get a Center to troll DMC with four times a year.
This is the Kyrie trade I want to see happen. MILs 2019 and 2021 (Maybe 2023) 1sts to PHX. Cleveland gets 2 starters, a young player, and a backup C. Id argue they got better here. They'd have a great bench. Bledsoe / Rose Middleton / Shumpert Lebron / Parker / Jefferson Love / Parker Thompson / Henson Milwaukee gives up a lot, but gets their second star and still has solid depth. The big part of this is that they save around $15M next year, giving them enough cap space to go after Cousins or Jordan. Irving / Brogdon Brogdon / Vaughn Giannis / Snell Teletovic / Wilson / Frye Maker / Monroe Pheonix gets two or three future picks for their rebuild and clears a starting spot for Ulis.
