I think they would rather have Covington because they'd want switchability 1 through 4. Plus, San Antonio would rather have Saric.

Spurs position depends on how much they can get for Kawhi across the league. If you offer them Fultz (who I think will turn out to be great despite his early struggles) and a no. 10 pick that is probably already more than they are going to receive from most teams. Nobody is offering a haul for a player who seems problematic right now and whose fitness is not that certain, with one year remaining on his contract.

This is probably a bit of a stretch but I was trying to figure out a way to get both Khyri Thomas and Chandler Hutchison.

Atlanta gets: Caleb Swanigan (or Layman or PapaG work too if they don't want Swanigan), #24

Milwaukee gets: Aminu, Isaiah Taylor, #30

Portland gets: Dellavedova (Or Snell if the Bucks prefer), Miles Plumlee (TPE), #17, #19

We get rid of our most versatile defender, and take on 2 more crap contracts to get 17, and move from 24-19? No thank you. That seems awful

Yeah I know, that is why I said it was a bit of a stretch. Just trying to see what it would take to get both Khyri and Hutch.

I keep going back to the Philly trade because getting Jonah Bolden as our backup 4 to Collins allows us to move Aminu.

76ers get Rights to Milovan Rakovic

Blazers get Bayless, TLC (Both using the TPE), #26, and Rights to Bolden

Then make another move to get into the mid teens:

Bayless and #26 for Dellevadova (or Snell), and #17

From there we have three options:

Option 1: Hope Khyri Thomas is there at #17 and Hutchison is there at #24

Option 2: Harkless and Aminu to Washington for Mahinmi and #15

#15 Khyri Thomas, #17 Dzanan Musa, #24 Chandler Hutchison

Option 3: Harkless, Aminu, and #24 to NYK for Joakim Noah and #9

#9 Mikal Bridges, #17 Thomas, Musa, or Hutchison

    Or how about this:

    NYK gets #24, Aminu, Harkless, Layman/PapaG (non-guaranteed)

Portland gets #9, Joakim Noah, Lance Thomas, Courtney Lee (TPE)

    Draft Mikal Bridges at #9.

Go after a vet like Trevor Ariza with the tax-MLE.

Offer to take TLC and Holmes off of the 76ers hands if they are just going to cut them anyway using the Vonleh TPE and a future 2nd if necessary.

    Dame/CJ/Ariza/Collins/Nurk
    Baldwin/Lee/Bridges/Thomas/Holmes
    Turner/TLC/Swanigan/Leonard/Noah

Super crazy expensive but we added another top-10 pick to develop as a future SF stud while at the same time adding some veteran toughness with playoff experience in Lee and Ariza. The big contracts of Lee, Noah, Leonard, Thomas, and Turner would all expire in two years. Our 2nd unit is super athletic. The only real bad part would be having a shit ton of money in players that wouldn't even crack the rotation. Forcing Collins into a starting role could be good or bad as well. It couldn't be any worse than having Vonleh start though.

wow. I keep seeing proposals for Bridges, and all of them are basically...let's spend a SHIT LOAD of money for Bridges. Again, i fhe was this good, he'd be going #1. I ran your moves through http://www.shamsports.com/capulator?id=17774783065afe51dcf1116239548843

Salary at 162.5 million. LT of 112 million!275 million dollars for that roster next year. If you're spending 275 million dollars on a team, like Paul would be, he'd wanna feel pretty confident he's got a team up there with GS, and this team...he adds Bridges, Ariza and Lee, loses Aminu and Harkless. That's not a 275 million dollar roster

Oh c'mon, it's only $155 million if Nurk signs for $15 million. That is totally reasonable!

First of all, we'd have to take on bad contracts to get into the top-10. Second of all, there are plenty of players that haven't gone #1 that turn out to be good.

Not gonna bother recalculating, it's a shit load of money to basically get the #9 pick. That cuts very little. Again, it's an absurd ask of Allen to commit to that amount, I don't care how much money he has, if it's for a similar or arguably worse roster. Especially in light of Olshey's recent comments about building for the playoffs. Yout hink the idea is spend 270 million for Bridges and no real thought of being much better this year?

I don't want to be someone that just comes in and shits on others ideas. I've posted bad ones myself, and I think for the RIGHT moves, Allen might pay that. For Bridges and success 3 years from now? Why speculate? Other than fans love the draft and the idea of something more than tangible success. Same with CJ for draft pick ideas. Come on now.

My bad, I forgot Bridges rookie salary so it would be $158 million. We could skip the Lance Thomas part bringing it down to $151 million.

Without, we'd have Richaun Holmes at backup center with Noah and Leonard as the deep filler.

I would pass as that lineup just doesn't do a lot for me for that kind of money. Bridges might be a good player for the future but a guy like Oubre or Tobias Harris might be available without breaking the bank.

Holy shit... I wish we had the pieces to land him. Nurk, Collins, and Picks probably couldn’t do it (and probably isn’t even possible because we can’t s&t).

So, hypothetically.. we could sign Nurk then trade him to Minny?
