    Quality over quantity.

    Although I’d try to work in Sabonis rather than Turner.

    A PF/C combo of Simmons and Sabas meshes extremely well.

    I'm not sure the "quality" is that much more, all things considered.

    The Blazers are giving up 57 points and in return are getting 35 in return. And would then be relying on Simons as their SG OR completely moving Damian out of his natural position and making Simmons the PG.

    Bogdonavic isn't anything to get excited about (he's almost 30), Reddish is a decent role player who is a career 38% shooter (that's not his 3 point fg% either). And Okongwu has played 51 games total, and he's clearly a long term project.
    And the 22nd pick is probably a late lotto. This isn't even a lateral trade for Portland.

    I'm confused...the idea is to get better, right?

    I like the deal for all 3 teams. You forgot we get Danny Green too.

    Dame/Green/RoCo/Simmons/Turner
    Simons/McLemore/Snell/Brown/Nurk is better than what we have now. Of course Nurk would be traded too. Maybe for Plumlee or RoLo.

    I think you get Dame, Simmons and Turner on the roster and build from there. Those three make a lot of sense together. We would have to trade Nurk. We would also want to try and trade RoCo and Green. That being said: Dame, Green, Simmons, RoCo and Turner are a formidable starting lineup Ant, whatever we get for Nurk, Tony, Ben and Cody would have to be the guys we got off the bench for this season. We would be much better than we are right now and in a much better position for the future.

    Also Ok isn’t a project. The guy is averaging 9 ppg. He’s a solid bench role player. As was mentioned, Reddish scored 34 tonight. He’s their best player and if we could steal him before he totally breaks out, it would be huge.

    There is more and more noise involving CJ and Indiana. I checked with a 'buddy' and he said it comes from Cronin's closes GM friend is Buchanon in Indy.

    i don’t know why, but I get the sense that we will end up with either Sabonis or turner by the deadline. Just a feeling.

    He believes they will keep Sabonis and move Turner, unless there is a HUGE deal they can't turn down.

    Nurk is drawing some interest from around the league as is CJ, RoCo, Nance and Norm along with Simmons and Little.

    It depends on what the Blazers can get back for that interest.
