It's not that they want Evan Turner, it's that they want to shed salary.

Honestly it’s too fair of a trade to ever happen, unless someone’s throwing in a pick too.

I said Beals not better, but that was in the context of our team, since CJ and Dame have good chemistry. If we disregard that context, Beal is slightly better. For the Wiz, it's a downgrade because CJ is more ball-dominant and Wall needs the ball to be effective.

I would in a heart beat but I don't know if they would. I would even add a future first if it got the deal done.

It's not fair for Washington at all. Oubre >>> Aminu and (for them) Beal > CJ

Maybe they aren’t as high on Oubre as we are, they did just take TB with a mid teens pick.

I think that's why Beal is better next to Dame as well. I think Dame and CJ are good friends but their games don't work together on either end of the court. CJ doesn't spot up shoot, he's got to pound the rock every time he gets it regardless of how open Dame gets him and neither Dame or CJ can defend legit two guards. I would definitely do this trade, it improves our defense and offensive flow.

    Wall
    CJ
    Porter/Brown
    Chief/Morris

Throw in a first to them too, that way I don’t gotta watch the draft next year

Would you do it if we added an unprotected first rounder? By the way, I agree with you on Beal but Oubre/Aminu is close even though I give the edge to Oubre.

We'd be a playoff team, why would it need to be unprotected?

Oubre is slightly better than Aminu, but also young with much more upside. I don't think even an unprotected 1st gets it done to be honest.

So if CJ doesn't spot up shoot, why would Washington want him instead of Beal? Beal is a much better fit next to Wall due to how ball dominant Wall is.

Yeah, I agree with you for the most part and doubt Washington would do it.

A 6’5” 208 lb snipper 2guard that plays both ways doesn’t fit the Blazers M.O. anyway. I think Kemba is on the block???

Beal is a better fit for Washington than CJ and maybe a better player overall but you cannot ignore how injury prone he is. CJ is basically guaranteed to play for full season, you are lucky if you can get Beal healthy for 80% or season.

    @jlprk

What's the draft day trade you wouldn't made that would've netted us that coveted Small Forward?

Get offa Whitsitt’s nuts and put together your deal...

Okay, time to have some fun with getting involved with K. Leonard trade. I don't think he would want to come to Portland so we need to enter as a 3rd team (and no I don't think this would really happen, but just having some fun).

    Cavs Get:
    K. Leonard
    P. Mills

    SA Gets:
    CJ
    Aminu

    Portland Gets:
    Love
    Nance Jr.

Portland saves $7.2M in the deal and fixes their frontcourt. You can sign an athletic backup center to add to the mix of Collins/Nance/Love at the C/PF positions. Then sign a SG that doesn't need the ball in his hands an entire possession to help the team.

    Just having some fun.

I don't think I'd do that. Instead of Kevin Love, I'd like the Blazers to find outside spot up shooting elsewhere, for a lot less, and roll with the bigs we have.
