I agree about the first part. (Franz is too good for Orlando to trade)

As for the 2nd part... no thanks. Most picks are protected these days, and Simons is the best player in that scenario.

Salaries don't match either for Simons Bamba and Suggs so that is a no go anyways. Would have to be a third team involved someway.

    Agreed.

Also LeVert has to be one of the most over-rated players in the league. No way is he better than hart

It's only off by 100k. Easy to throw in a minimum salary guy on their end.

Id much rather keep Chicago's pick over swapping it back for Portlands...

the pick protection argument is easily resolved IF the right trade presents itself

Its VERY close to working. Just add a minimum bench contract from both sides & it works

with Simons for Bamba and Suggs and a first? It is closer to 5 million off. Simons is at 22.3 Mil Bamba is at 10.3 and Suggs 6.9 . They would have to include Wagner like the original post, but I can't imagine Orlando doing that.

100K off from being a successful trade.

Future cash considerations. Time for Jody to open up the purse.

Bamba/Suggs don’t have near the value to land Simons.

Suggs has looked bad since his injury.

In short, that’s an atrocious deal for Portland. That’s a move you make if you’re trying to tank.

Really??? Blazer fans really over value their players.

    It’s a scorers league.

Id rather have a good all-around player vs a 'scorer'

Hart has been under-rated his whole career. He was one of my trade targets 2 years before he was traded to Portland

Hart’s hustle is awesome! I love it. But at the end of the day he’s a 6’5” (being generous) small forward with not much length and a liability on offense because he doesn’t need to be paid attention to much.

Lillard needs to be surrounded by players you can’t leave open. Not guys you want to leave open.

No way. They need to include two firsts then if they are keeping Wagner. He's the centerpiece.

Meh. Neither Indiana or Portland got a title out of the trade so I don’t care.

Nets are a mess might be willing to make big changes. Nurk and Hart for Claxton and Harris works money wise not sure nets would go for it. Gives us a good 3 point shooter at small forward and a mobile center
