the way Myers is playing atm, I really would prefer to keep a hold of CK, just cause if nothing else he's a bigger body in the paint and won't take any shit. we have 3 point shooting for days and the fact that its 'another' plus to Myers game is to me a complete negative when he seems to hang around out there to hit em (sometimes) cause he's tired of getting pushed around inside. I like the combination of the other guys in the front court and things look pretty solid there, but we still lack an enforcer of any note.
Anyone who thinks anyone is being showcased right now is a bit out of focus with what this team is doing as a whole.Look at what Neil has done and is doing and you realize showcasing a guy for the sake of trying to trade him doesn't seem to be part of his MO.
Neil turned Eric Gordon (and Aminu, and Kaman) into Chris Paul. It'd be hilarious if he turned CJ, Aminu, and Kaman into another superstar player...
I kept tabs on BroLo and he's a legitimate rim protector, at least so far. He clogs up the paint. Tonight against Houston: five blocks.
This team desperately needs a post presence. These 3 losses could have been much different if we weren't so one dimensional on offense. All teams have to do is take away lanes and guard the 3 point line. This team would be hot af if we landed Monroe... Can you imagine? We are going to have to get that post presence if we want to contend. It will be interesting to see if Neil does that before the trade deadline.
Problem is no good team is gonna give up a good post presence. We are stuck with guys like BroLo (bad feet), David Lee (injuries and getting older), Nene (barf), and Big Al (not a good fit). I'd like to go after Horford or Cousins but idk if we have the pieces to get it done.
If it's close to the package that Hank is suggesting.... Brook/CJ/pick(s) to Sacramento DMC to Portland
