exactly, or as you noted in the other text, wonder how much of his contract the Marlins are willing to eat. Could be M&M boys Vol. II IF, they can't/won't eat much of it, the Yanx should pass imo. I'd wager he'd rather return home to So Cal and play for his family, friends et al....can't beat the weather, little cold, laid back critics; but the hills burn to damn much around shaky town...
Yeah, that would be a very crowded OF with Stanton, Judge, Ellsbury, Gardner, Frazier, and Hicks....somebody would obiosly have to go.
Ellsbury is the final remaining high salaried, non producing straw in the Yankees Drink. Don't want to see Stanton either, the Yankees have Judge. Don't need Machado, or Harper either. Keep the young hungry players coming into the system. The Marlins fleeced Seattle into taking Dee Gordon, lets hope Cashman doesn't get fleeced by Jeter in a deal for Stanton.
Twitter lighting up with reports yanks making significant progress in Stanton talks. Names being talked about so far is Castro and prospects but none of the top prospects. Didn’t think the yanks would be interested but maybe I’m wrong. If done is Stanton a left fielder or dh?

^^^Yeah, looks like it is coming down to the Yanx or Dodgers. ...Cashman needs to be smart here because although adding Stanton would obviously help the Yanx" offense, he needs to remind himself that this would be a "want to" deal and not a "need to" deal. ... In other words, since the Marlins are the ones who are somewhat desperate to shed themselves of Stanton's contract they need to be willing to compromise too. So giving up Stanton needs to be countered with the Marlins taking on either Castro, Headley, or Ellsbury.
Joe kayaks reporting deal with Yankees done. Stanton flew overnight to Tampa and is taking physical at Tampa today. Wowwww!! Can’t wait to see the details
