Joakim Noah would definitely move the needle.

Trades that move the needle are very complicated. The team doesn't get free agents so getting that RIGHT player
takes some time. And we don't TANK seasons like some teams do. So our drafts can be good or bad.
I like what Oshey did this year. He did a small number of moves that directly helped the team. He didn't put Lamarcus
on the block for some super pick ahead in the future. Keeping Lamarcus here is a big key to our future.

For sure. He is a much better player than Melo.

Great quote after tonights loss from Amare on why Melo is a terrible teammate

Holy CRAP! That's as direct and blatant of a call-out of a teammate as I've seen in a LONG time.

Well, clearly Amare feels the trade would move the needle.

I realize this gif is about Bargs, but I couldn't help noticing that three Spurs were wide open while Leonard decided to go 1 on 5.

Yeah, because you can never have too many overpaid players that suck.

That seems to be the entire strategy behind the 3-10 Knicks roster. Why on earth do you keep suggesting that the 13-2 Blazers trading with the 3-10 Knicks is a good idea? The Knicks are 3-10 because their players suck. Adding players that suck to our roster does not make us better. If Melo and Bargs are so great, why are the Knicks 3-10?

Well, to be fair, Melo did lead the Nuggets to the WCF at least once (twice?). He's capable of being the best player on a winning team, but his ego is just ridiculous.

It's not melos fault they are 3-10, and I was joking about WANTING bargs. If we had to take him back to match salaries I'd do it though

Melo passed the ball plenty of times to his teammates last night but no one was making shots. Put him on this team with better teammates and many would be surprised at how much better he would do. Melo can easily average 3-4 apg with better teammates. A'Mare can hardly talk, he's been worst than Bargnani this year

Wait, how would we have to take back another 8-figure salary if we're trading for Melo?! You know he makes more than every player on our team, right? And we could trade away Nic/Robinson/Wright/Leonard/Mo/CJ and still not have to put another salary in.

That is the most idiotic post ever. There is the BGD poster, that really doesn't know better, then there are trolls. You are not a Blazer fan. This post is all the proof you need.

Come on dude… You know damn well this is a troll. My fall victim to his bate? That is the worst possible deal ever. We get a selfish Melo, Bad character "K-Mart", and a slumping Shumpert for 3 solid chemistry guys on our team?
