It gets taxing when you get 40 minutes of Tim Quarterman and Grant Jerrett going up against D league wannabes. 3-5 games is optimal I think, in the same sorta 3 week time frame. 7 games is stupid long
I don't.....7 games in 21 days is not changing anything for the players....they're going to play anyway..it just allows an opportunity for rotations to get a chance to play other teams instead of starters vs bench at practice.....baseball players never get that much time off...they've all just come off vacations...I don't see a downside to the preseason
You guys are fucking crazy. I wish we had 25 man rosters and played 52 weeks a year! 3rd string euro league scrubs playing hoops is 10X more exciting than watching hall of fame baseball players do whatever they fucking claim they do in that "sport"!
I can't believe fans would complain about more basketball....baffles the mind...like you'd rather they spent a month paint balling
You're missing my point. I want more NBA basketball. Not scrubs trying out for teams. We have the DLeague and mid major NCAA ball for that level of ball. I don't need 4 games of preseason with most of our regular rotation on the bench. Pretty sure most players and coaches (bball side, not financial side) would agree with me. 3 or so games to figure out a rotation with lots of practice time in between to sort out if any scrubs can make the roster behind the scenes.
