I will not be buying any more jerseys. I do not agree with this, and I'm going to vote with my money.

This doesn't bother me at all and I actually think it will have that @EL PRESIDENTE hipster coolness factor down the line.

Imagine if the NBA had done this 20 years. We'd have jerseys with Blockbuster, Toys R Us, Tower Records, Compaq, Pan Am, AOL (I know, not gone... yet) think of all of the big businesses that are gone today that would have loved to have slapped their name on an NBA jersey.

I mean its not the worst logo we could have had. Imagine something like Uber or lyf or Air BNB or some shit like that.

I'm right there with you. If course in 42 so I probably shouldn't be wearing a jersey anyway.

The only sports that should have sponsors on their equipment are soccer and racing.

Soccer because they don't have commercial breaks and racing because the cars and motorcycles are so fucking expensive that they need sponsors to exist.

Basketball does not need sponsors on their jerseys. They have commercial breaks every 20 seconds. It's bullshit. It's greedy. It shows complete disregard for the tradition of the sport. I will not support it.

We have the same luck with sponsors that we have with free agents. We can't get the good ones. This is as bad as renaming the Rose Garden to Moda Center.

I will also point out that they already sell the rights to make the official jerseys, so there are already Nike logos on everything. They're double dipping.

I would have preferred a Portland Company, another could have been Kershaw or Gerber...
