    3-0 with a +20.3 point differential. All 3 opponents are play-off/in teams.

It is, I was a doubter until today but the team is playing with effort that we just weren't seeing for quite some time, maybe the most effort of the entire season.

DJ Jr. is in the barn too. He played 4 minutes in the Pacers game and then 3 straight DNP, coach’s decisions.

yeah, the focus is there for 48 minutes now when 10 days ago they were lucky to focus for 30 minutes

I think it simply started with effort on the defensive end of the floor. Dame led the way by asking to defend Brogdon and the rest of the team picked up from there

Some better defense, game control at the beginning and late fourth quarters, CJ and Nurk are major contributors, Norm gets his shot and Melo is hot.

Basically Stotts is playing an 8-man rotation, and closer to seven. In the three blowouts we got to see the whole bench, because, blowouts, but this revealed what's really going on. It's sad for Derrick, and I wonder how Olshey feels about his prize free agent signing being unceremoniously dumped. From starter to out of the rotation in under a month...
(Funny that Forum Fave Nas, whom we would have nominated as his replacement, is also DNP-CD.)

He's probably not happy, but I'm not really sure that Jones Jr has earned starters minutes with his play.

There are plenty of games where he looked like he was invisible (same with Roco too).

He was pretty much the same player here as he was in Miami, but with better three point range.

The good news is I think he's the kind of guy you can dust off in the playoffs and throw in there for a matchup or a particular situation or if there's an injury. He doesn't strike me as a sulker, and really he's too young to not want to do everything possible in the minutes allowed to build his career.

I actually believe Stotts is benching him because Stotts isn't using him correctly not because DJ has played badly. He's still one of our best defenders. He's still leading our team in two point fg%. He should still be getting bench player minutes in the double digits IMO but we've been successful without him and maybe he's bad for team morale (I would never know that). He could be bringing everyone down by constantly talking about player movement and ball movement and other Stottsian heresies.

Id like tom see him get minutes and going from an 8 to 9 man rotation is just fine, imo. He could have relieved Dame form guarding Tatum some last night. Maybe he's been nicked up I know he's always getting hit, especially his left wrist seems to ahve bothered him for some time. The other guy Id play some would be Harry because if the light goes on with him it will really help come playoffs.

As I said previously - I'm not holding my breath that this team has truly changed its approach.... I'm giving it through the Spurs game.

I missed Bostons game. Tonight it looked like they're slipping back into old habits with poor defences and hero ball

Same here. They need to go back to the way they played against the Celtics, Grizzlies, Pacers and Brooklyn.

Hopefully the game vs the Hawks was the anomaly and the previous games where the norm. But I kind of think it will be the other way around.
