Summer transfer window closes tomorrow. Arsenal have a bit of business to do in finding players to fill in for our injured ones and overall strengthening of the squad. Wenger, who has signed two free agents in Yaya Sanogo and Mathieu Flamini, says he expects to make signings but that's what we've been hearing all summer. Arsenal have won their playoff to enter the Champions League Group Stage which should help our negotiations a little if we're in for top players.

Re: Transfer Deadline Day With the NLD over, Gareth Bale is expected to officially join Real Madrid, and Madrid is expected to sell players to offset the cost and open up the roster. Arsenal and United are both in for Angel di Mara. Mezut Ozil is seen as a bit thin and unfit for English football. Benzema doesn't want to move. Kaka on his way to AC Milan?
Re: Transfer Deadline Day Arsenal could be in for Ecuadorian foward Jefferson Montero. The winger plays for Morelia in Mexico and has been linked to Cardiff. Montero would be a last resort signing if Arsenal fail with their other late bids.
Re: Transfer Deadline Day Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye played this weekend but is still hoping for a move to Arsenal. Wenger submitted a £10m bid for the player that Newcastle rejected, hoping for more. A £15m bid is possible--which is less than the £20m Pardew is asking for but still an improved offer. Hard to say Newcastle are overvaluing Cabaye when Arsenal comes knocking.
Re: Transfer Deadline Day Arsenal reportedly interested in Wesley Sneijder who is available for under £10m from Turkey side Galatasaray, who bought him last year for £8m.

Re: Transfer Deadline Day Arsenal are in advanced talks with Real Madrid to sign Mesut Ozil for £40 million, Goal can reveal.
Re: Transfer Deadline Day Ozil has been very productive for Madrid: 27 goals and 81 assists in 157 games. A play-maker in the midfield is utterly essential--right now we are relying on Cazorla too much. Arteta and Wilshere are prone to injury. The depth Ozil would give us would be tremendous. Best part is the lad's played in 45+ games for five straight seasons. As slight as he is that is an impressive record of health.
Re: Transfer Deadline Day Charlton Athletic Manager Chris Powell has laughed off the idea of his club being linked with a potential loan deal for Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong, as reported by Ghana Soccernet.

Re: Transfer Deadline Day Palermo striker Abel Hernández linked. Arsenal supposedly in for Ozil and Angel di Mara both.
Re: Transfer Deadline Day Chelsea striker Demba Ba on our radar on loan. Could be a move to cheapen Cabaye given that Newcastle are hoping to land Ba as well.
Re: Transfer Deadline Day Arsenal linked to Lille's Solomon Kalou. Wenger has expressed interest in the past.
