Dude was a decent PG @ Marquette, and was somewhat serviceable in Indy. I like it as insurance.

This should really say something about Bayless. Mills should not worry because he was not expected to be of much use this year.

 

Diener is a classic Nate guy....... Not a lot of skill, over achiever, doesn't do anything great, but doesn't make a lot of mistakes......He will do well under Nate. Dare I say, Steve Blake Lite?

 

I think Diener has better passing skills, but is worse at everything else.

It could have been worse; low mistake, low ceiling guy who can shoot the ball a little -- pretty much exactly the kind of guy you want in case of an injury, but somebody that won't create a logjam with just his presence alone.

Then again, Nate tends to fall in love with these kinds of players, so maybe Bayless will need to look over his shoulder?
