Henry is going to be traded to the Titans for a 3rd rnd pick. The trade will be announced on Monday. Good deal or not.

good deal for a third round pick, they are going to have a good RB core if they can all stay healthy. They have Chris Brown, Travis Henry, Jarrett Payton(led NFLE in TDs), and i think the guys name is Joe Smith who was on Payton's team and was like 2nd in rushing yards for NFLE

Good deal for the Titans. Though, I still think they will finish last in the AFC South.

This gives donohoe and extra 3rd rounder for which he'll probably invest in another overhyped hurricane

Henry is a good back and all but as Iv'e said before, I think Jarett Payton is eventually going to put him and Chris Brown on the bench, most likely sooner than later.

Jarret Payton is no where near the back his father was. He isn't going to ammount to anything but a starter that starts because of injury. He only played because of Frank Gore's injury in 2003 and didn't do very good either.

I mean NFL Europe isn't the best way to judge talent but in the few games that I saw him play in he played great If he gets a fair go in the NFL look for him to be great and I can gaurantee that.

NFL Europe are for 3rd stringers who might not even make an NFL roster. It is rare to see one of those guys emerge as a starting tailback. Payton was a decend college player but if he can't do good in college I don't think he can do good in the NFL.

Im not expecting Payton to start, but to be a good backup to come in when the #1 is tired

Look at Tom Brady though, he was a QB that shared time with Drew Henson and i don't think he was ever a full time starter at Michigan and now look at him he's got 3 Rings.

And besides look at Payton's competition while at Miami, Frank Gore, and Willis Mcgahee.

He did share time with Henson but was 20-5 as a starter at michigan...alot more success than payton had in college. I will agree he looked good in the NFLE games I saw but its still Europe....I'd have to see him have some success in the NFL before I'd consider him a real talent.

but if a player does great in NFLE, they usally have a huge NFL season in 1 or 2 years after NFLE. Like Dante Hall, Jake Delhomme, Kurt Warner, Brad Johnson

Payton was a flop in college. Gore was hurt all the time and when he got a chance to start he blew it. He had his chances but failed and thats why I don't see him ammounting to more than a backup in the NFL.

Ya and Rohan Davey who won the championship over there took a step back last year and know will most likely lose the back up job to Fluite and Chas Gessner who was his number#1 receiver over there couldn't even make the pats and spent another season on the practice squad alot more duds than studs come out of Europe...

On this board, Willis McGahee is overhyped. He's had ONE good year, but to listen to your posts, they should be prepping his bust for Canton. Let's see if he can string a couple of 1,000 yard rushing season together before we make McGahee a SUPERSTAR!

hmmm overhyped backs then. Kevin Jones, Julius Jones as well.

Come on Willis has potential to be the leagues top back in a couple of years. I personally am excited to see him play the whole year as the Bills main guy.

Willis has tons of skills. He had tons of talent but his knee made him drop in the draft. He would have been a top 5 pick probly if he didnt have knee problems.

Potential is overhyped. Potential is the word used for players who aren't getting the job done yet. That's why "The INDISPUTABLE Truth about Michael Vick" went six pages. Too many people fall for the hype. The Dolphins drafted Ronnie Brown who has been described as the most complete back coming out of the draft this year. You don't hear me hyping Brown because I haven't seen what he can do on the football field yet. Ricky Williams may be coming back. The talk is that he's serious about playing football, but I'm not going to talk about how great the Dolphins' running attack will be because I'm not sure how serious he really is. If you want to talk smack, why not talk smack about players that have actually done something in the NFL, on a consistant basis, like Brett Favre, Curtis Martin or Priest Holmes. I'm tired of hearing how great players are that may be selling cars in year or two.
