<div class="quote_poster">Swish15 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">The other day, Ariza made a really nice move and drove to the basket. Just for a second, I thought he looked a lot like Tracy McGrady. He is lanky, 6'8", can jump out of the gym and wears #1 for us. Then again, he can actually play defense so I guess that's where the similiarities end. [IMG]</div>

But then again, T-Mac can actually shoot, score, and is more consistent than Ariza. He might not defend as well, but he's an All-Star. There's also a difference there.[IMG] I would rather have T-Mac even with his aching back than Ariza.

I saw this picture and I had to post it!

The most wonderful thing about Trevors,
    is Trevors are wonderful things.
Their tops are made out of rubber,
their bottoms are made out of springs.
    They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
    Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!
But the most wonderful thing about Trevors is,
    I'm the only one.
    Oh, I'm the only one!

Haha, you have to admit, that's awesome. It's the perfect picture for Ariza since he's full of energy and is always doing something productive on the court.

You make it sound like this has some sort of relevance to the Orlando Magic right now.

Besides, Ariza was traded for a player that constantly disrupted Magic offensive sets, so it's not like the proposed deal was Francis for Lee anyway.

But I could go on every single forum in Justbball and do that to almost every single thread that is discussing any player; it's unnecessary and it adds nothing to the topic at hand.

^That's not what I'm talking about you see. I could go into a Heat forum and charge head first into a thread that is discussing Dwyane Wade and go "I'll take LeBron James over Dwyane Wade anyday", but you see, if you actually put up a little more info about how it relates to the thread than I wouldn't mind as much.

However, simply going into a thread and claiming that you want to have David Lee's babies isn't really contributing much. It's sort of just baiting other members of the forum instead of making a relation of the two players in an intelligent manner.

Ariza is better suited to play SF, me thinks.

Lee can play both position me thinks. And making a thread about Ariza would make you entitled to Ariza's babys. But it probably wont happen since Ariza would shoot and miss. Regardless if it is the magics forum the player is related to the knicks.

I have to laugh at that one. Hey, I would take Kobe over Trevor Ariza also. What's ur point?? It doesn't matter if Lee is having a better season than Ariza. We traded Steve Francis for Ariza, not Lee for Ariza. Heck, there are a lot of players that I would rather have than Ariza. It doesn't mean anything. Ariza is a good player that's solid from the bench. Besides, Lee isn't as good as a defender as Ariza.

Exactly. It's totally pointless to start talking about a different player for no reason. It's not like we're comparing the 2 or anything like that.

I was one of the people that wanted David Lee instead of Ariza in the thread. Both players are getting time now and both players are proving why they have deserved time. I expect both players to be valuable role players for the majority of their career.

Tracy McGrady Jr. has been hot lately. He had 17 points the other night against the Hornets and tonight he already has 18 points with 3 minutes left in the third quarter. He has thrown down some nasty dunks tonight and has been our main offensive threat (other than Grant Hill). For the millionth time, I love this kid.

I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread yet. I've loved Ariza ever since we acquired him last year and he was grabbing all those offensive rebounds. I can't wait until he becomes a steady starter on this team playing beside all the rest of our young players. [IMG]

Ariza absolutely took a **** on Adonal Foyle, it was sickening.

Edit: Just noticed Ariza's FT% is 49%. He's still got some work to do at the line and developing a jumper.
