Does anyone else honestly think Ariza will be a superstar? I'm talking like a 20 points per game elite player on the level of guys like Paul Pierce, Tracy McGrady, or Vince Carter. Could you guys see it happening? I think the sky is the limit for Ariza. He's shown signs of greatness this season and he is only 22 years old. If he continues to work on his game, I could really see him emerging into a top offensive threat for our team.
he is in a system that could have him get there... dwights right hand man kinda thing.. He still has to work on some skilled things but if he keeps his hustle and jumper on key there is no doubt he can be a tayshaun prince/ grant hill type player..i kinda want an ariza jersey now

Never on the level of guys like Carter, McGrady or Pierce. I think that's overexaggerating. He'll be a really good complimentary guy, especially since he can bing the hustle and play pretty good defence with his long arms, but that's about it. I think he'll be a fringe all-star at best, but that's maybe because I'm cynical about most young, raw, athletic players. I've seen way too many underachieve.

Whatchu think exaggerating means? 1 : to enlarge beyond bounds or the truth : OVERSTATE Ariza being a superstar may be overstating, but I wouldn't call it overoverstating. Anyway, I agree, fringe all-star at best, but that's nothing to sneeze at. If Ariza could develop a consistent jump-shot, he'd be a lot closer. He's shown me already he has slashing skills that I never knew he had. He's like a much better DeShawn Stevenson who can actually finish around the rim.
Yeah I think I may have been overly overexaggerating a lot. My homerness was coming out when I was making those comparisons.

They avg. about the same in ppg anyway. But there is a difference between avg. 20 ppg and being an impact player with 20ppg like Carter and Pierce do it. I hope you know what I meant, don't feel like writing a giant explanation. Like someone said above me, I think he can reach the Tayshaun Prince type calibur player.

18 tonight...what was up with g-hill in the 4th...ariza needs to start, he's amazing and will be an all-star, improved dramatically over the summer
Ariza should start every game. Turkoglu isn't the best option at the SF spot. He's very inconsistent and especially this season. Ariza has done all the dirty work for the team and is becoming a very valuable player. I mean we traded away a lil bitch in Steve Francis for a guy like Ariza. What a trade!!!! I'm not sure about Ariza becoming an All-Star just yet. I need to see some more jumpshots and also better overall game. I already like his defense but sometimes he picks up quick fouls.
with tonights game trevor is averaging 8.5 points per game, thats like 4 points more than last year. if he keeps it up, i see us trading hedo or making him a backup to trevor and ariza blossoming to an eventual all star...he has the potential. i mean when t-mac came into the league, he was 6-8 210 and he eventually bulked up and became one of the best in the league...i think if trevor can improve his free throws/expand his range he can become an all star...he has the driving ability and is amazing in the open court...he can handle the ball and plays good perimeter d, those are good characteristics to have as a 21 year old in the league...good thing we have him for 2 years after this and we can re-sign him after that

Turkoglu is our only guy that is a threat to make 3's. No one else is really even a threat. Even though he has been missing a lot lately, teams still have to gameplan for him shooting 3's and they can't let his man double team Dwight/Darko.
