Rockets record looks good, but we've been really beating up on the bad teams. We'll have a stretch coming up where we face some really tough competition. Without Yao, I'll be very happy if we can just play .500.

They have already played 21 home games and are just 11-10 in those games. The Nets will have to make up those home losses on the road. 9 of their next 12 games are on the road against, a majority of which are against Western Conference teams. I don't trust the ranking for Utah, personally. Based on point-differential, they're about a 48 win team. They've benefitted from winning a lot of close games, and that tends to even out as the season progresses. Plus, they've enjoyed pretty good health from their main players all season. If they win much more than 50 games, I'll be surprised.

They're another team with a tough road trip this month, albeit against the Eastern Conference, but their opponents include Washington, Chicago, Detroit, and Toronto. Four games in 6 nights on the road is tough.

They have won 7 of their last 10 games, and have moved ahead of the Bucks for the 8th seed. The Nets are showing a lot of resolve despite the constant trade rumors and Jason Kidd's messy divorce.
