Don't have much there. I import, not sell crap Cali. You like Burgundy? Aka the most popular (affordable, if it werent for Bordeaux, Burgs would be the best regardless of value/price) reds on this planet?

I can hook you up with some rad shit.

    Sounds great.
So do you import, and sell to wine shops here then?

Import, owned by a well-known foreign winery/winemaker, import his stuff and his friends' stuff, and have fun.

We have a distributor or more set up in every state to sell our wines.

Sounds like a pretty cool job. Were you always interested in wine, getting into it? Or something you just fell in to?

I've always been interested since I came out the womb! And always will be - from the womb to the tomb!

Being Catholic, it wasn't a Catholic function unless there was beer and wine around. I'd get to try some long before I was old enough, and always liked the oak-y, buttery CA Chardonnays (not a huge fan now, though). Always been a big beer fan - my dad was always brewing when I was little. I got a job opportunity to help wineries from a financial perspective and got to work at a couple of local wineries when I was 19/20, so it kinda grew on me, and now I love it. At 21, you're typically not thinking about wine, but I'd been given my fair share for free/discounted, so I really got into it around 21/22.

My current gig has been very good to me - I love what I do and I love the company I work for.

Very cool. Always curious when someone has a cool sounding job, or at least in a cool industry just how they got it, etc. Will likely be looking for work in another year or so, and so just always like to find out how people got into what they did.
