I think the reason why it gets brought up is that it points out how the whole two party system is so screwed up, that the “swamp” really does need fixed. Unfortunately or Fortunately (subjectively) Trump doesnt appear to be the guy to do that.

Also want to point out its not really true that Obama and the Clintons arent relevant now, they’re still very much involved politically, selling books, giving speeches, they’re voices are out there still and carry weight. Just because they dont hold office anymore does not mean that theyve gone away. Im not judging on if its “good” or not, just saying they’re still active and relevant.

It is the republucan crutch and the typical trump tactic of dodge, deflect or divert, but never accept responsibility.

Gotta admit, that's an interesting link. While it seems to be tilted in the D's favor, It's probably pretty close. It was amazing that Obama scored all zero's. I'm, like, wow, that's an incredible accomplishment. I'm still not sure Obama wasn't aware of Russian meddling and that at some of those guys should be on his watch. But, whatever. Then, there was Holder,....and that whole fast & furious thing....which, actually, was a pretty crazy concept.....

At any rate, a good find on your part, Cup, and duly noted.

Its the same crap that always happens, as long as I can remember, it doesn't matter who is in office, they get attacked and the first thing that gets brought up well look at what the president before me did. Of course its deflection but the two party system sets up perfectly for them to deflect.

When something “good” happens for a president his people always jump up and down and say look at how amazing he is, when bad stuff happens its well the last guy set us up to fail.

Deflection is basically the name of the game of politics.

Get back to me when Obama or either of the Clintons get indited which is going to happen, when? Any day now?

On the flip side, Trump would be behind bars now if it weren't for the mistaken rule by the Justice Department that you can't convict a sitting President.

What's funny and what might send trump over the edge is that New York is heavily investigating trump and his kids and they aren't bound by the phony restriction of not indicting a sitting president. If they find him guilty of something, he can be indicted while in office. Things are going to get interesting and would love to see the guy with the orange face be wearing the orange suit.

I love Fleetwood Mac but I don't recall Hillary's theme song or even that she had one.

That was a great album. I remember being at Music Millennium on Burnside with a buddy and we spotted AC DC's first album on the new release shelf and I picked it up without knowing anything about them and have enjoyed them ever since.

They are waiting till he is out of office and then they are going to nail his ass. That is why he wants to stay president so bad. It is his only protection.

When I was going through my divorce that should have been my theme song. I guess it could also apply to my visit to Vietnam. Oh yeah, almost forgot, it applies to me thrice weekly visits to the VA for my life saving treatments where I get two large guage needles stuck in the inside of my upper arm and I have to lay there on my back with horrible times breathing on my back due to my semi paralysis of my diaphragm for 5 hours unable to scratch or reattach my CPAP when the mask becomes detached and unable to call for help and my neighbor blasting the TV while I'm trying to sleep. Oh yeah, dialysis is a joy. Did I mention the blowout bleeding episodes or the frequent operations to work on my access fistula while I'm awake and unable to take pain medication? Oh yeah, life is peachy.

For sure, but thats used to excuse it when it shouldnt be. "All politicians do it" or "Obama did it". I tend to see this excuse used much more from one side than the other.

It's like a parent whos kid got in some trouble at school and suspended and instead of holding him accountable, they say "Ehhh all kids do it" or "So and so's kid did it too".
