Ironic that the leaks of the most honorable candidate and the DNC proved them to be angels.

Last time I looked the Democratic party was completely out of power in DC.......and I have no idea who your "honorable candidate" is......the worst player on a good team is still a bad player.

from your leak article....included a number of sordid allegations about the president's sexual proclivities.
From that fox news link.....now you realize that Trump is the same guy who said his celebrity comes with pussy grabbing privilege......no basis in sexual allegations eh?

The nature of how the Russians interfered in the election is dubious in the first place, and way overstated if true. The DNC didn't stand up to scrutiny. Funny thing is Trump STILL would beat Clinton.

Then there's the dog kind of citing RT and other Russian sources that have puny readerships in the US. It's hard to see how they could shape public opinion, twitter bots and the like notwithstanding.

On top of all that, there's this absurd view of how Russia works. Everyone is tied to the government! Putin gives direct orders to everyone.

    (Not!).

No basis in fact. Just something YOU want to believe.

I'm objective about it. Show me PROOF the Russian dossier has any truth to it. Haven't seen one shred of proof. With all the time and media bias incentive, and media cash, and man power/hours, not a shred of proof.

I heard Trump say what I alluded to....proof enough? I'm not asking to lock up Trump for crimes....He's blatant about his character...you are correct...he's not tied to Russia personally other than asking them to help him with Clinton's emails.....but he's irresponsibly denied the concern within his own camp for self preservation from what I see....his cabinet has been chaotic from the start...maybe that's YOUR thing....

I don't think it's absurd at all....Putin has a track record that speaks for itself...

If Trump had actually hired "the best" people for the jobs in his cabinet\administration, people with actual experience, then maybe he wouldn't be knee deep in horsehit about now.

He wasn't asking Russia for help with Clinton's emails. He was making a dig against the obstruction of justice embodied in their bleach bit destruction.

The Russians never had those emails. Some collusion!

    Well, he did pwn Obama.

But it's more reasonable to expect that Russia is poor, spends heavily on inferior military equipment, and is utterly corrupt. Closer to a 3rd world country.

Our federal budget is ~4x Russia's entire GDP. Brazil has a bigger GDP.

When Brazil sends their criminals, they're not sending their best criminals.

Why are you so in love with Brazil? It seems you want to turn us into that.

China has a huge part in that being the case....actually China has quietly taken over investments in South America and Africa where we've really not shown that much interest....now China is running the Panama Canal pretty much....Russia is trying to expand..Crimea, Ukraine...Syrian port..etc....Putin is spending big on his military.....Russia has more weapons of mass destruction...nukes...than anybody outside of us.....game changer right there...Brazil does not, but they have natural resources that replace American exports to China...

Russia's only real importance (e.g. more than compared to other countries) is its nuclear arsenal.

But their nukes have little to do with Russia's ability to effectively meddle in anything. Or the continuous claims that any Russian is linked to the KGB (or whatever it's called now) and/or the Kremlin.

If he met with anyone that that could even loosely claim to be involved with Trump or his campaign, he would be perceived as a security threat. That's the point.
