...sadly, it seems that the only GOP members who have have enough backbone to call out Trump for his BS are the ones who are leaving office anyway...the others are too chicken-shit to say what they really think of Trump and are putting their re-election concerns ahead of simply doing the right thing and doing what's collectively best for this country as a whole.

...in a few hours, the 2 most bombastic leaders in the world with the 2 worst hairdos in the world will meet in Singapore.

...can someone try to explain how any sort of denuclearization by N. Korea can be guaranteed or verified with any degree of certainty?

I seriously doubt any legit verification will ever occur. NORK's will it turn this into an Easter Egg Hunt; hide & seek.

NORK's have never ever conformed to anyones concerns. Trump will demand, not a way to negotiate. DT's Art of the Deal is as phony as his wig. Bullying is a taboo method of tactless tactical diplomacy. The only method Trumpixon knows. Insult our true Allies & pander to Russia. Trumps had a man crush of Putin b4 t/elections.
The G7 a total embarrassment to the people of the United States. Hopefully Air Force One will not come back from Singapore...

German Chancellor Angela Merkel told Trump it was unacceptable that after two generations of alliance where they had worked to integrate their economies, Trump would sandbag his G7 allies with steel and aluminum tariffs “without talking to anybody,” said one official.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe tackled Trump’s threatened tariffs against the auto industry, arguing Japanese cars are not a national security threat to the U.S.

Those frictions on trade continued into the Friday evening bilateral meeting between Trump and Trudeau, one that started off cordially.

Trudeau offered the U.S. president a small token of friendship, a framed photo of Trump’s grandfather’s hotel in Bennett, B.C., which Trump’s press secretary tweeted as a “great moment” between the two.
You gotta be kidding me, a picture...

^^^Matts, the only way we can be certain of denuclearization is for North and South to unite and become one again and as long as Kim is in power that's simply not going to happen.

...I see this whole thing as a political ploy to garner Trump some brownie points for the midterms and to draw attention away from Meuller's investigation and Trump's other faux pas.

Speaking of pictures here's a viral pic worth a thousand words

    IMG_20180611_100823.jpg

But the reality actually captured in this photo — the reality revealed by Trump’s conduct in Quebec and after — is that this whole narrative has proved to be nothing but a big lie. The photo is all gesture, with nothing at its core other than Trump’s petulant narcissism, destructiveness and increasing detachment from reality.

Trump’s posture throughout the Quebec debacle and after — his justification for threatening to upend the global trading order — was based on a series of Trumpian falsehoods and distortions. After leaving Quebec, Trump claimed the United States is the victim of high tariffs. But as the New York Times’s Ana Swanson details, the United States imposes its own tariffs, which are “slightly higher, on average, across all its imported products than Canada or Japan and exactly equivalent to the four European nations in the G-7.” Meanwhile, Glenn Kessler flagged two other lies Trump used to justify his handling of the G-7: the claim that the United States is getting badly ripped off by its payments to NATO, and the assertion that we’re running a big trade deficit with Canada.

This viral photo perfectly illustrates Trump’s biggest lie

    I totally agree...

ntm- Tumpet continues to fulfill Putin's fantasies, ie. t/US at odds with our Allies, & discord over NATO...

His tariffs will hurt & hinder US workers & consumers. It's crazy, USA voters elected a failed businessman to run the finances of this country...

...yeah, I've been reading about that...Trump falsely claims that we have a trade deficit with Canada when in reality we have a surplus.

Matts, considering there are only VERY loose details from Trump and Kim on their "meeting" it's pretty much a nothing burger...still trying to find out why the Trumptards are OK with Trump praising infamous unfriendlies like Kim and Putin while pissing off our allies ?
...also waiting for the "experts" to illustrate how any supposed denuclearization of N. Korea can be actually verified?...especially for a country and ruler who have a history of reneging on promises?

...the whole meeting between Kim and Trumps smells more like a propaganda/political horse and pony show by by 2 idiots try to hold onto their position of power.

Interesting. What specifically is fucked up in your opinion.

Are you viewing this from your perspective, or that of it's intended audience, a North Korean dictator that doesn't get out much?

.."intended audience"? ...are you serious?....how many different links would you like?

...did you even actually take the time to read it?...Are you viewing this from your perspective, or that of a Trumptard?

imo, both parties need a dire makeover, not the one Trumpet is giving the GOP; which is simply a facade, ie. a bad bad facelift...

    ^^^^
this is another shit sandwich, lacking substance (meat) and legitimate disarmanent details, timetables, plans, specifics. With no real promise or treaty signed, other than "let's chip away at this", or - what fast food burger joint would you like in NORK.

T/Nork's have never lived up to one promise, not one since their inception. You know as well as I a paranoid communist nation will never give up 100% of it WMD. IF we're lucky, Now comes a game of cat and mouse, hide and seek, another Easter egg hunt; with NO details/timetable or legit substance, no treaty, no pact, no legitamcy.
We all hope for disarmament, but this looks like nothing more than a Photo Op. Trumpixon walked away with nothing more than fellating his own ego. In dire need of good press, but this imo is smoke and mirrors. Don't get me wrong, I'd love nothing more than total Disarmament.

Giving up War Games with S. Korea should of been done a long time ago. Why would any superpower play war games off the coasts, when the nation their intimidating is the most paranoid on earth. Such certainly never did anything other than stoke such parnoia...

Zero details, zero accomplishments, other than telling our Allies in G7 off in a Twitter Tirade.
FK our Allies, and pander to a Enemy of the State.
Stroke the ego of a true threat....wtf- so much for Trumps tough lil' rocket man stance. Trump hasn't really succeded if at all, with his art of the squeal, I mean deal...

Praising Pukin and Russia they belong in the G8, while other S. American Nations have a bigger economy than Russia; hell even Caly's economy is larger than Russia....

The propaganda memo is out......’ If you don’t back Trumpetman, you
will lose.’ And every damn spineless Republican is afraid, especially those
already in office. Imagine a Republican nominee claimed that she backs the
Trump Party 100%. The White House put out word if a Republican nominee
does not back the trumpetman, we will see that you will never get elected.
This comment says it all. This White House & nominees like this South Carolinian
female candidate are caught up in this maelstrom of appearances & perceptions. It’s
as if the people/voters are thrusted into this psychological bullying & seduction aimed
at candidates. Power is a phenomena that is not only sought by this autocratic president,
but by the trump voters who want that power. Dare someone poke this bear!
