In nothing else, because there's no other alternative I'd be willing to choose.

He'll win it when? Any day now?
By the way, did you know that Trump never wrote "The Art of the Deal"? He didn't even come up with the title.
    He's a con man.

Absolutely. I was also mortified that he won the election and pissed off that people blindly voted for him. However, this is not a democracy as we had no choices and the country was stuck with the "lesser of two evils" and a self proclaimed "chosen" one.

Unlike you, i vote for who i feel is the best candidate. Too bad more people don't vote that way instead of a particular party. I would be embarrased if i was a member of the republican party with people like trump, nunez moscow mitch etc.

I'll vote the Republican candidate that most aligns with my values. Not one Democratic candidate supports right-to-life. Therefore, they're all disqualified.

As previously mentioned more than once, if John Kasich could somehow emerge to become a viable candidate, I'd certainly vote for him. He's fiscally responsible and level-headed, along with supporting, and enacting laws pertaining to, my moral values.

You won’t vote Dem because they aren’t right to life, but you’re all-in on the party that puts kids in cages and won’t give them shampoo and soap?

Don't think for a second that Congress doesn't share in all of this.

That still makes it hypocritical. “Well they do it too” isn’t an excuse. Although it sure seems more Democrats want to end the separation of kids and their parents. But maybe I’m crazy.

What do you need to buy from China?
I can't think of a thing I need. So actually, therefore, I will not buy anything from China until we have a proper trade deal.

If, We do not need anything from China, who will replace the US market for China's goods?
    Right!
    They will deal.

I'll be honest "right to life" is sort of important to me too. Early term abortions, like I "get it", but mid/late-term I really struggle with saying oh it's the woman's body so do whatever they want because in my mind I have seen premature babies grow up to be normal, but you can't just vote on one issue in my mind. A candidate might be, "right to life", or "pro-choice" and do nothing in there tenure to support or hinder that particular cause. Just because that is something they put on a bumper sticker, there is more to do in government than handle abortion rights. I feel like you can't just take one issue put a line in the sand and then ignore all their other stances. It's the same for war, anti-war, equal-rights, etc, etc, there are a lot of important issues that should affect who we would vote for.

Hard for me to reconcile, I choose "right to life", but I'm ok with supporting making those kids also live terrible lives without much hope, without even the basic necessities.

I get that some issues are more important to different people, we all have different perspectives but have to be willing to listen to an entire person and see them for more than one issue or opinion.

That's just it, a president has very little to do with whether the United States is pro life or pro choice and to hang your hat on that one issue and ignore all the garbage that trump brings with him seems rather hypocritical and more excuse than reason.

Immigration is a very complex issue and, for sure, Trump has taken a pretty hard line. I do believe he's making a conscientious effort to keep riff-raft out of our country. That said, he needs to continue to work with Congress to find better solutions. OTOH, what if America sent thousands of our less-than-fortunate to, say, Sweden's borders, wanting to get in and live. Do you think they'd accept us with open arms? Immigration is a complete Catch-22, IMO.

Yep, because if you honestly think that Trump was the first candidate to be pro life (which I honestly doubt he is), you'd be delusional. Yet nothing has changed. so using that as a crutch is wasted energy.

    Cool.

The premise is faulty, but to answer the question anyway: to some extent, the rest of the world, and China's growing domestic market.

Less than 20% of China's exports go to the USA. Losing 20% would hurt a lot, but it won't kill them.

Of course they'll deal. They are rational actors, unlike our current head of state. But they'll take full advantage of the weak hand on the other side of the table.

ABM, it's not even really his policies that bother me the most. It's his constant lies, his constant pandering to our adversaries and putting down our allies, his personal attacks on individuals and groups and calling members of the United States as the enemy (basically anyone that disagrees with him). Listening to many of his speeches it is rather obvious the man has no clue and isn't very bright with often wandering off subject and constantly repeating the same thing over and over again. If that's what you want in a leader then your standards are well below mine.
