Most of the big corporations running these news agencies are in the tank for left leaning lobbyists, and are in lock-step with Democrats. As Trump insinuated, there is no point in him going. He would rather do his job than waste time at the dinner. There isn't a requirement for him to go and frankly why would he? /insert analogy here. As a citizen, I would rather want my President working than going to some bullshit dinner where they're likely to make more biased headlines; "Trump uses left hand to wipe ass, right hands around the world scream racist!"
