They were anything but regular. Regular citizens don't confront law enforcement with loaded guns. Taking over a federal facility with the help of loaded firearms could be exaggerated, I suppose. Not sure how you'd be able to exaggerate that unless you said they raped the locals or set off a nuclear device. Yeah, I guess it is possible to exaggerate.
