The way that the right is bringing into doubt the value of education/experience is quite fascinating. If you undermine the credibility of someone, it makes it harder for them to show you are guilty. So everyone who has some kind of level of expertise will be mocked or ridiculed by trump, because his level of expertise is conning people.
Nothing pathetic about a pertinent legislator pointing out another impeachable act to add to the list. Do you actually believe that Republican Nunes never did anything outlandish when he served in the same role in the House Intelligence committee? The difference between the two? Schiff actually had a legitimate reason.
Again, just because you say it is, doesn't actually mean it is. The rules he's following were *made* by republicans. It's not his fault that he understands how things are supposed to be done better than you do, or Trump wants you to believe it's supposed to be.
He shouldnt have cared either, and he made plenty of Blunders, I am not denying that at all. I am saying that focusing on the Blunders that werent important was a bad political strategy by the left. I am not saying that Trump has t made those mistakes. Lets use a sports example we all watch basketball (I think heh). If the Blazers are leaving a player wide open under the basket and he’s got like 70 points just having a layup / dunk drill and they called a time out and talked about their Perimeter defense because they had a minor mistake that caused one wide open 3, wouldnt we all be questioning why they arent worried about the guy who is wide freaking open. Yes, you dont want to give up open 3’s, but whats really beating them is the fact they arent guarding the guy in the paint at all. Why go after Trump, why waste the time, print, news cycles all that to go after his stupid mishaps that wont get him out of office, or really hurt him, when there are so many HUGE issues we can talk about.
Yep, and the "liberal elites" in colleges are teaching our kids socialism! Now I gotta go drive on the public road and pick up my medication that my medicare paid for! Oh hey look, it's a school, fire station and police station!
Don't you think impeachment and truthful revelations about the state of the union are getting us somewhere? I do. I want innocent hard working people who are being thrown under the bus to have their say about how this went down. I want our oversight committee to be respected and all subpoenas to be honored by all cabinet members....transparency is not throwing lawyers at questions...Trump should have talked to Mueller one to one on record..that's transparency...obstaining from checks and balances is unconstitutional.
Ha! He might not have been elected the first time, had the dems not run such a dis-likable candidate. Then Kerry was disgusting to me the way he badmouthed the lads that served in Vietnam. He deserved no votes.
It's an attempt to point out how inept he is and how he might make a fatal mistake at any moment. Once that message gets out there we can focus on doing something about the big problem, an inept, criminal, devious, traitorous President that might lead us into something truly disastrous at any moment.
But again you are going straight to the “big” stuff, and ignoring that there have been in fact really petty things that have caught news cycles that theyve ran with and I am saying all the time spent talking about the crowd size is a waste of time, and I am sure we can find more examples of things that just distracted from the bigger issues, and those smaller things also served him, because he can say oh witch hunt, those angry libs will be mad no matter what.
You can start threads about any of those huge issues....this one is about impeachment which to me is the biggest issue of the day....anything Trump related is part of the story of what led us to impeachment. If you think there are more important things...bring them on
Sure I understand this argument and I can to some degree, agree with it. It is not however how I would have handled it strategically, which is basically all Im talking about, the political strategy of all this.
So what? I can only type one sentence at a time...why do you assume I ignore any fucking thing at all? To me you are watering down the topic with comparisons of what you think are not important points...that doesn't mean anyone else around here has ignored anything
I laugh at all this fake news, the media is against Trump bullhockey. There has never been a president who so publicly said or did such stupid and heinous things. Never insensibly attacked so many people. Never used social media like a bully pulpit. Told so many lies, so many obvious, and yes mostly trivial, lies, Etc His actions and words are so outrageous and out of character for a president, of course the media are going to report it.
Like OT usually does this thread has branched, if you look at my original reply it was talking about “since day 1, they wanted him out” and I am just pointing out I think strategically the left has made mistakes (at least in my opinion).
Indictments to follow, when now, any day? Meanwhile, Trump has six of his associates in prison for felony convictions with more to follow. Then there's the whole impeachment issue and all the corruption associated with that. Clinton with no indictments and an impeachment involving consensual sex with two adults involving no sexual intercourse and no convictions vs. Trump with a shitload. Which is worse. Which to choose, which to choose. Whoops, I think I can see the elephant in the room. I'm gonna go with Trump being the worst.
Nor a President Obama...if you were to believe this. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...-debt-crisis/2011/08/29/gIQA8VkuCK_story.html
