Trump supporters, what would he have to say before you would not vote for him?

I'll go with the constitutional scholars. My powers of reason are fine, and I am smarter than a fifth grader.

Harvard Law School vs. barfo clown school.

    http://harvardlawreview.org/2015/03/on-the-meaning-of-natural-born-citizen/

Goes in depth about the meaning. It's clear that a child born to US citizens are natural born. It's not specific about those born here of foreign citizens.

So yes, it is at least an interesting question. My view is that precedence is that anyone born here, period, is a natural born citizen.

The point I raised is that Trump and MarAzul have at least some solid foundation for their argument.

That said, democrats were wrong about McCain's eligibility and Trump was wrong about Cruz'.

    Obama's mother was a citizen.

I am satisfied Obama was born in Hawaii. He is and was perfectly eligible to be president.

British common law requires the father to be a citizen. FWIW.

    Talk is cheap.

I vote for or against candidates based solely on what I think they will be able to accomplish if elected.

I won't sacrifice my family's freedom, safety, and welfare by voting for the politest candidate.

I don't care what they say...ISIS stems from Israeli/Palestinian roots...until that problem is solved, many nations with ISIS support groups will continue to battle the great Satan that feeds the Zionists...Jimmy Carter speaks at length about this and it goes way back...Obama inherited wars on two fronts against radical Islamic jihadist terrorist groups...in no way did Obama plant the seeds of revolt in the middle east. He did blow it in Syria by not finishing the job when he had the chance...he choked on that one.

Left wing talking head, Peter Beinart in TheAtlantic, Jan 2014.

Trump calls Obama ISIS' MVP. Press throws a fit. Fact check sites say he's wrong.

    Yet...

    http://www.theatlantic.com/internat...mas-disastrous-iraq-policy-an-autopsy/373225/

Obama's Disastrous Iraq Policy: An Autopsy

But sooner or later, honest liberals will have to admit that Obama’s Iraq policy has been a disaster. Since the president took office, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has grown ever more tyrannical and ever more sectarian, driving his country’s Sunnis toward revolt. Since Obama took office, Iraq watchers—including those within his own administration—have warned that unless the United States pushed hard for inclusive government, the country would slide back into civil war. Yet the White House has been so eager to put Iraq in America’s rearview mirror that, publicly at least, it has given Maliki an almost-free pass. Until now, when it may be too late.

    ...

For the Obama administration, however, tangling with Maliki meant investing time and energy in Iraq, a country it desperately wanted to pivot away from. A few months before the 2010 elections, according to Dexter Filkins in The New Yorker, “American diplomats in Iraq sent a rare dissenting cable to Washington, complaining that the U.S., with its combination of support and indifference, was encouraging Maliki’s authoritarian tendencies.”

On December 12, 2011, just days before the final U.S. troops departed Iraq, Maliki visited the White House. According to Nasr, he told Obama that Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi, an Iraqiya leader and the highest-ranking Sunni in his government, supported terrorism. Maliki, argues Nasr, was testing Obama, probing to see how the U.S. would react if he began cleansing his government of Sunnis. Obama replied that it was a domestic Iraqi affair. After the meeting, Nasr claims, Maliki told aides, “See! The Americans don’t care.”

Obama in his own words admits al Qaeda/ISIS was defeated.

    https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-pres...sident-obama-press-conference-after-g7-summit

So we’re reviewing a range of plans for how we might do that, essentially accelerating the number of Iraqi forces that are properly trained and equipped and have a focused strategy and good leadership. And when a finalized plan is presented to me by the Pentagon, then I will share it with the American people.

This is part of what helped defeat AQI -- the precursor of ISIL -- during the Iraq War in 2006.

The man opposed the surge. Good call! Not.

At least he admitted he was wrong. He deserves credit for that.

    http://www.bizpacreview.com/2016/08/12/cnns-cuomo-comes-right-admits-couldnt-help-hillary-377744

“It’s a problem because she’s doing what they call in politics “freezing pockets,” because the donors are giving her money thinking she’s going to run, that means they’re not going to have available money for other candidates if she doesn’t.” Cuomo said. “And I don’t think she’s going to give it to them. We couldn’t help her any more than we have, she’s got just a free ride so far from the media, we’re the biggest ones promoting her campaign, so it had better happen.

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo actually said that on air.
