    The firing is probably not very consequential itself--Bannon was always more significant as a signal for where Trump's head was at than as a decision-maker or policy-influencer himself. But the things Bannon stands for professionally and politically--white supremacy and misogyny--are things Trump has shown he needs little help embodying.

    The firing just adds to the clown show appearance for this administration.
