The lack of support had to do with the Ambassador changing the plans and visiting an unsecure facility.

I should add that every commanding General for a thousand miles around said she had no fault in the botched visit. This was backed up by the State Department, The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the CIA. Did I say the Commanding Generals of NATO and Africa Command absolved Hillary?
