I suppose lots of things are divisive language, and I get that taking a stand is valuable. Im just so uncomfortable with broad insults towards large groups of people and then followed up with I want unity! Im much more ok with personal insults then just insulting everyone (this isnt to get into forum rules), just Saying Trumps an idiot, ok thats fine you or I can say that, when its, anyone who votes for Trump is a racist, or an idiot, or whatever, Just that stuff bothers me, and it bothers me when the right have said similar things, the way they attacked Obama at times was awful, the way they have treated people despicable.
I get if someone is attacking you, or your wife that the inclination is to attack back, and in many cases that may be the “right thing to do”.

I think what scares me going forward is the chasm is so big that whoever wins in 2020’is going to gloat and strut their stuff and divide, and whoever loses well I think the fall out could be our 2nd civil war...

I want unity, and as soon as the other side surrenders or is exterminated, we'll have it.

Thanx man, I took a self imposed 1 year hiatus as a sort of experiment...and I found that what I suspected for the most part was true. Yesterday was exactly one year since I had posted and upon returning I found that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Look, I've already told you that Trump is "still" our sitting president and as long as he is, I will support him. I also had said that I supported John Kasich and would vote for him in the coming election if I felt he had a chance to win. As it relates to your questions, above, yeah, there are a number of things that really bother me about Trump's responses to various matters and situations. But, seriously, I don't think they're impeachable offenses.

Why? Even the constitution is designed to allow to morons to be removed and not have complete authority. This isn't China where one party rules and everyone is forced to simply support him because he has the highest office.

OK, then, well, impeaching him should not be a problem at all, correct?

    Impeaching won't be.

Removal with his cronies in the senate, however, clearly won't be easy.

But your blind admission of support for him JUST because he's president is interesting. Hope you maintain this in a year for Warren as well.

In the Senate it means the GOP concedes it is supporting him just to keep the power base they have....if he loses they all lose credibility for sitting on their hands while the Constitution is being disregarded concerning the responsibilities of the legislative branch dealing with the executive branch without partisan meddling within the rule of law.

impeaching a president is always a huge problem...especially when his party controls the Senate....shouldn't be but...partisan stubbornness prevents govt from working without preconceived notions of the outcome. Also we're going into an election that threatens the power base that controls the Senate...that's buying a ref....

There in lies the problem as people like you that admit to blind following have no redline. I doubt you would say the same if it were a democrat who was the president and that creates another problem of divisiveness in this country. As citizens of the USA we have the right to demand better from a sitting president and he has embarrassed our country to no end and it has become apparent he has no idea how to run a country, show diplomacy and how to comfort and bring a country together as he continues to push it further apart.. You have no problem with him shunning our allies and embracing some of the most corrupt dictators in the world. Ever wonder why that is?

It is when you have a spineless republican senate that is just like you and accepts any and all indiscretions from trump.

No need to insult ABM Cup....he's stated he doesn't blindly accept all things Trump....and some senate republicans are not on the Trump bandwagon...I hope others change their minds but don't assume they're that shallow...some are....I don't get that impression from ABM but I do think he likes to bait you about the issue.

He said himself that he does: "Trump is "still" our sitting president and as long as he is, I will support him. "

I wasn't insulting abm, I was insulting the republican senate as being spineless. My comparison of the senate to abm was that they all fall in line and accept any and everything he does. As for baiting, I know his game as it's pretty transparent regardless of how he tries to disguise it.

so what...he said he supports any president who is with him on anti abortion if I remember correctly...choices. Trump has support from many evangelicals...for evangelical reasons..I don't see why but that's the reason I express my counters to Trump's administration. I'm not calling ABM spineless because he's made that choice. It's his right to do that even if I think he's wrong. There are a handful of posters here that I do think are blindly parroting Trump's bluster and all of them tend to insult anyone who doesn't....I'd rather take the high road on personal insults when possible. ABM also posted he prefers Kasich to Trump...probably for the same reasons.

well, you claim I was insulting abm by my spineless comment regarding the senate and then you follow up by stating you aren't calling abm spineless. It just seemed an odd choice of words considering your first response to me and after I explained what my spineless comment referenced. It's all good on my end.

And I explained what I meant. Maybe it wasn't worded the best, but my explanation should have sufficed. You also only chose the part that fits your narrative as it continues on saying that is just like you and accepts any and all indiscretions from trump which is the actual part I was comparing to abm and the spineless republican senate. You might have a point if I didn't already clarify it for you. I apologize for the confusion but there was never any insult intended.
