or san diego or anywhere else. you sited polls from a national selection of participants and a state wide one for decisions made at a local level not of the constituents whom elected the officials doing the removals
I don't even think it's Democrats. http://www.politico.com/story/2017/08/15/confederate-statues-washington-241663 Confederate statues in U.S. Capitol likely going nowhere Some Democrats have called for the removal of 10 monuments, but Republicans say it's up to individual states. Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) on Tuesday did call for lawmakers in both parties “to work with me to ensure the permanent removal of all offensive and despicable Confederate imagery” from the Capitol. But other congressional Democrats have largely stayed out of the fray.
I cited three polls, all local to specific cities in the south who have monuments. Two unscientific ones from local newspaper WWW sites, and a third that polled citizens of New Orleans.
I don't have a feel for statues either, even when they get to Washington. But I know that will not be enough. I am very sure the destruction of my country is the target. I will object.
By definition, destruction of the country is required for anarchy or something to replace capitalism. These fringe extremists are anarchists and anti-capitalists. They are violent in their demonstrations even before this one. http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-berkeley-trump-rally-20170415-story.html http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-portland-protests-20170604-story.html To name two obvious recent examples.
the third pole was state wide and not local or representative of new Orleans citizens exclusively because of that, nor were they site specific other than the unscientific paper one. you know this so irrelevant to the discussion
Good enough. These polls are the best I could find. McAuliffe is governor of Va. He's elected by a state-wide vote. The polls of his state on this issue suggest he's going against the will of the people with his flip-flop. Not political expediency - more likely fear. That would be terrorism working, no? We'll have to see how the push polls for the question nationally turns out.
I keep seeing posts on other forums I just read (banned) that say the counter protestors were throwing urine and feces in bags or cups or something like that and soda cans filled with cement. I have never seen a single thing about it anywhere. I literally am unsure if that happened.
If they have video, it's hard to argue against. You believe stuff written in crayon, so there's that.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...e-virginia-white-supremacist-rally/561939001/ Car crashes into crowd, protesters draw blood, toss urine at violent 'Unite the Right' rally in Charlottesville
The article doesn't say which side did that. It says that the counterprotestors threw water balloons filled with pink paint.
YouTube is apparently censoring or banning or just taking the money away from right wingers so who's to know.
I guess that's better than urine or feces. I'm sure the Nazis brought tiki torches and feces filled bags.
