The semantics.... We are the United States of America, thus we are called Americans. They are in Canada, thus they are called Canadians. Should we be called United Statesians? How about USians? Maybe go for the whole thing and be United States of Americans? The world should just accept it and start calling us "Supreme Overlords."
It's so annoying when people complain about that. I have a stepmom from Columbia and she gets really angry if you say "Americans" in reference to the USA. Soooooooo annoying

I haven't. It's actually my stepmom-in-law. But she goes about once a year with her daughter and my father-in-law. All I ever hear about is how much better Columbia is. Which is also annoying
