That mistake is often made. Obviously LeBron is super-talented and a two-time MVP, but he is one of several great players in this free agency class. For example, if the Knicks end up with Amar'e and Wade it will be an extremely successful offseason and the Knicks are back up as one of the East's upper echelon teams all in one season. Further their presence can influence others to come here.
I agree if they get Wade to team up with Amar'e, but if they only end up with Amar'e being the top talent they got, and then a bunch of srubs, it's a big fail. I'm sure you agree. and I want the Knicks to succeed, don't get me wrong, but its a huge mistake to risk everything on just one dude without having his word that he's coming to your team.
