Two reasons I see Lebron choosing the Knicks over the Nets

I think the ability for the Knicks to sign another max player to play alongside LeBron really cancels out what the Nets can do. I'm sorry, but I'd rather play alongside DWade or Bosh than Harris and fillers. Plus, if they can find suitors for some of the other trash on that roster (Curry, Jeffries, etc.), they'll have even more cap space to sign some other solid players, plus their MLE. At this point, unless something drastic happens, the Knicks have to be at the front of the LeBron sweepstakes.

Yea, and that "more" that you mention would be in the form of another superstar.

And I really think Cleveland is overachieving. I think they have a good team and all, but they're not a championship caliber team. They are, in my opinion, a one trick pony that begins and ends with LeBron, and that doesn't win you a title. I really don't think they're a drastically different team than the one that got ousted by the Celtics last year. Sure, they added Mo Williams, but he's inconsistent and can't always be relied upon. And as I've mentioned in numerous other posts, I'm not a huge fan of the rest of their roster at all.

The only way LeBron stays in Cleveland is if they make some changes and bring in another guy who can legitimately help him carry the load, because despite what Cleveland fans want to think, Mo Williams is not that guy. He's a very, very good player, but he's not a player that's going to really push them to a championship caliber team.

The real question is who gets the rest of the money? I say a big man.
