Think we could then flip Sasha to Milwaukee for Kurt Thomas and Delfino (player option on third year so they're basically both expiring after next year)? We'd have to throw something in to make salaries work but if we could pull that off I'd be all for the trade.
You bastard ... then again, I laugh my ass off at the Lakers every time I see that greasy fuck waving a towel on the bench.
Dude, nobody is going to want that scrubby, POS ... not until next deadline when he'll be an expiring contract (when he might actually have some real value).
This is bullshit, the L*kers weak point is at the point guard position, and you significantly strengthen it. For that reason alone you don't do this.
The way I understand it from Hoopsworld (hold your laughter please lol) is They want Thomas and Salmons... if they dont wanna give up Rookies and or Howard along with Blake and Outlaw then a 3 way with the Lakers would be what makes it happen. http://www.hoopsworld.com/teams/Rankings.asp
I can't say this blows me away, but Thomas isn't a bad get; he's a knucklehead and kind of dumb basketball player, but he can defend some, is good at steals and blocked shots and still has some upside (Bill Bayno would earn his paycheck I think?)
MARC STEIN UPDATE Three-way trade possibility in @chadfordinsider piece: Hinrich to LAL; Outlaw/Blake/Juwan Howard/Morrison to CHI; Ty Thomas/Vujacic to POR 1 hour ago blazers trading howard? id be shocked.
So would I. I heard J Quick mention a couple of weeks ago that the organization would love to move him over to a front office or coaching role when his playing days are done (which I think would be great), trading him would seem to complicate that a little bit (except that Chicago is his home town).
Why do I feel like I've seen this same post (the Marc Stein update) somewhere in here already...multiple times? Anyhow, to whoever it was, cause it was way back in this thread, just having Maria in the gym would be a bonus Unless when you said bench you were referencing a different type of wood you wanted her to pop a squat on
Yup, you could include Mills or Pendergraph and the trade still goes through ... they'd probably be more amenable to Mills since the next year on his contract isn't guaranteed.
