They probably do for sure but they'd much rather have a guy like Bernie who embraced guys like Castro, Chavez & Maduro over the years.
I dont like Trump and wont vote for him, Im like Clint Eastwood, dont like his diplomacy at all, but Im still a capitalist/libertarian and will not support Bernie's platform.
I would vote for Pete or Amy but its not looking like they succeed.
Do you support Bernie at this juncture?

I'm not a Bernie fan myself, but the only reason Russia would interfere for Bernie is that trump thinks Bernie would insure a victory for him and not that Russia feels Bernie would help them.I don't know of Sanders embracing dictatorships but trump has been very obvious with his infatuation with dictators and his continual disdain for our long time allies.

The older I get the more I appreciate balance, in all things. I guess that why Im an independent now. In my mind both parties are leaning extreme which as Pete and Amy say "leave's out a whole bunch of people".

Well, they just had a primary in the most diverse state yet and Sanders won nearly half the votes despite so many other candidates. He did well among pretty much all the voting demographics, so maybe his "ideological purity" is more "inclusive" than Buttigieg would like to admit.

Populism isn't by itself good or evil. It depends on what emotions you're playing on to fuel your populism. In my opinion, Trump fed on both implicit and explicit racial fears and fear of immigrants as terrorists and job-stealers which is pretty dark populism to me. Sanders brand of populism is based on ensuring that everyone has access to pretty important things, like health care and higher education. You may not agree that everyone should have access to those things, but I personally find that a lot less dangerous and problematic when it comes to a populist movement.

Im for balance, I prefer a reasonable sized government with fiscal responsibility. I want a country that is built on capitalism and a progressive tax structure. I think we should have social assistance fro those in need and at the same time promote the benefits of working, creating jobs and prosperity from freedom of a mix economy. Rich should pay more, but also those that are lacking a drive to work and contribute they should be encouraged to become productive contributor. Growing up in the sixties I knew many young people that worked the system for welfare and food stamps and they were 100% able bodies, just lazy and wanted to party and be free of a job. I looked at it as using up funds that those in real need could use, but bad government management policies hardly ever address the importance of fiscal responsibilities and efficiencies.
I do not favor open borders but I do support immigration reform and legit refugees. However, I do not believe we should have an open door policy where we provide freebies to everyone who wants to come here.
Id like to see Bernie spend more time talking about how he wants to address the economy and pay for what he proposes.

Id disagree about Bernies brand of populism. His is just a different color then Trumps. He’s playing off of peoples fear and dislike of rich people, religious people, and people who disagree with him in a similar way that Trump did / does.

Appointing Grenell is actually illegal. The Director is required by law to be someone with experience.

I haven't seen anything anti-religion in Bernie's campaign, but then I haven't been looking for it either. What did I miss?

I also haven't seen anything anti religious. Unless you mean he's a Jew.

Didnt say his campaign was anti-religious, but his stance is much different on God and religion then any of our past presidents would be. At least their stated stance (whether the lived what they said is a different story), and I think he attracts people who are disinterested in or ‘fear’ religion. - Which might be ok, I dont need someone to fake a religious world view.
I think it plays well to most of his base that “god” isnt really part of his platform.

It's probably the only thing about his platform that I agree with.
