    Committee will look at the Georgia game and that alone. Unfair, but reality.

    Also, rankings right now mean nothing until CFP polls. That's all that will matter.

    USC is already out of the playoff with the loss to Utah.

    Once a pac-12 team loses they are out. USC is out. My opinion, but nationally they look down on the pac 12. You have to go perfect. Hope I'm wrong but I have no faith in corrupt leagues like college football

    For me, winning the Pac 12 is the cake. Anything after that is frosting. I'm more about the cake then the frosting.

    The latest on the great Christo. Miami didn't just lose today. Despite having nearly identical total yards the Finns were blown out by 3+ TDs. 3 interceptions and 5 fumbles will do that to you! :bgrin:

    Washington made the playoffs at 12-1 in 2016

    Oregon made the playoffs at 12-1 in 2014

    much depends on what other teams do

    In the history of the 4 team playoff, can you name a P5 team that went undefeated in their conference, won the conference championship, and get left out of the playoff? I can't.

    He'll last a few years for a couple reasons:
    1. They are heavily invested in paying him and Manny's buyout
    2. He will sell the changing of the culture to buy time
    3. He will recruit at an elite level, giving boosters hope that they're only 2 years away
    4. He can ugly up games enough to sneak out a big win against a top program (while still losing to inferior programs).
    His ability to sell his own crap is on par with Olshey.

    He's proven to be a great pitch man. His players seem to love him, players parents seem to love him, and even while dropping games to inferior teams, he can sell fans hope they're a year or two away. It's a real valuable skill!

    Who is left on the pac 12 that's undefeated? That's what I'm talking about. Once a pac 12 team loses (or any other conference other than the SEC) they are out..

    So to answer your question that wasn't merited based on what I was mentioning, I can't think of any either.

    It's odd that's what you took out of that since I said 'they have to go perfect" lol. Which your question answered itself.

    I read your comment as a one loss Oregon team is out of the conversation. If you meant if Oregon loses another game (their 2nd loss), then they are elimated, then I misunderstood.

    2 losses typically means you're out of the playoffs, for sure.

    Man for some reason coaches who leave Oregon go on to become garbage. If I’m a program in need of a coach I wouldn’t touch Oregon coaches anymore lol
