    - interesting to see CB Dollaway give way to Tom Lawler in the first round by submission. Dollaway seems vulnerable to submissions which is a bit of a surprise because he comes from a solid wrestling camp (Arizona) and has some decent training partners. I don't like him so I'm happy to see this result. One more loss should spell the end to his UFC career. Strange he's had so many fights and Amir Sadollah hasn't had one yet.

    - I don't know if anyone else is shocked by Mark Coleman's win but I am. I didn't think he had anything left. Seems his wrestling is still good. And Bonnar is still impossibly average despite Forrest Griffin's rapid improvement.

    - Bisping's loss could be one of those "best things that could've happened for his career" situations.

    - Jon Fitch avenges Josh Koscheck's embarrassment.

    - GSP is too good at what he does to be touched right now.

    - Lesnar is fearsome and potentially the best heel in UFC history.

actually it did because the Ref did have his arms around and and Wand was clearly out of it. Hitting a defensless man like that is uncalled for.

That is the difference, once Dan had the ref on him he stopped. Rampage didn't. I don't remember anyone making a big deal out of Rampage's actions.

Nobody knows for sure if Dan was trying to tell a joke when Rogan interviewed him. He seemed serious, yet he also seemed serious at the post fight press conference when he said that his adrenaline was flowing and you go until the ref stops you.

How the fuck does Coleman, Bisping, and Alves make more than Mir? Even without the win bonus, Coleman made more than Mir.

Poor Mir. He took a fucking pounding for jack shit.

Mir says he'll show Brock how to act in victory, next time

    http://mmamania.com/2009/07/13/fran...m-how-somebody-is-supposed-to-act-in-victory/

Technically, they need a rubber match. Interesting comment from Mir saying how he wants to get within 10 pounds. If Mir can bulk up efficiently and properly, with his BJJ, I could see him having a better shot. But if Brock can get on top of him and Mir doesn't have the strength again, then yeah...he is fucked. However, Mir had him rocked on the feet. Mir's striking has improved a lot, I would watch this fight again if Mir can bulk up. If he can't, I don't want anything to do with it.

Brock is a psycho, probably the worst behavior I've seen after a win outside of those scripted WWE things. :[

    Damn son.

And they need to hand out some raises for the losers, 45 K to the HW runner-up seems like jack.

Mir probably made over $20,000 on his sponsors, plus some kickback from the PPV rate, and then whatever Dana White wants to compensate him with (more $$$, a brand new car, a vacation, w/e)...but still a base salary of $45,000 for a fighter like Mir is a joke. I know he is on his old contract, but dude was fighting for HW title and was the interim champ.

I knew a weight cut issue would pop up. He walks around at 200, right? Does anyone think he can be successful at 185?

Early estimates have UFC 100 drawing 1.5-million PPV buys, pushing it close to the top PPV events ever (others include Holyfield/Tyson 1 and 2 and DLH/Mayweather). Fighters who earn a PPV cut (likely Lesnar, GSP, and Mir) could have their salaries pushed up over $1-million excluding sponsorship bonuses.

Another interesting note is that Bud Light claims to have never spoken to Lesnar or his management, which makes his rant a bit more peculiar.
