Rampage won and I was surprised too, but the first two rounds it was Rampage stalking Machida while Machida played it safe. Machida definitely won the last round but the first two could have really gone either way. HEY RUA was robbed the first time he fought Lyota. Its payback! Even Rampage looked surprised!

We island boys are still partying after the BJ win. Couldnt come at a better time and against a better opponent.

I was a little surprised that Rampage won but the first two rounds were pretty uneventful. The judges gave it to the aggressor (although even Jackson was pretty tentative). Frankly the decision wasn't really a robbery since Machida did about as little as possible before the third round. He knows he should've done more if he wanted to win.

Could've been something else. :sigh: Oh, well.
But seriously, is Machida part cat?

I thought that was such a tactical mistake by machida going for the arm, Rampage is known for his slams. Shoulda just stayed in mount and pounded him.

So glad Rampage won. I didn't think he had a chance winning a decision though.

Here is another shocking UFC roster cut--Gerald Harris (3-1 UFC, 17-3 overall) is out after his shit performance vs. Falcao.

Note to UFC fighters--try your hardest or Dana White will rape you in the mouth.

That is kind of surprising. I wonder if it is one of those things--being a young fighter, getting your 1st loss and then if you go out to another organization and get a win, they'll bring you right back?

Why would he do that? 17-3 overall, 3-1 in UFC? Why cut him?

Plus two knockouts of the night, IIRC.

As has already been suggested, it seems the only explanation is that they want him to get the message that if you don't fight hard, you don't stay with the company. Seems like he is being scapegoated along with Escudero and Duffee.

The common theme amongst all those cuts is that theyre still very young fighters, I guess the UFC is sending the message early in their careers so that they get it and hopefully change their styles?
