    I think GSP takes this in a cakewalk. He SHOULD be able to finish this fight early standing, but he'll play it safe, keep Sheilds from getting a takedown or at least staying on the mat for long so he'll cautiously strike so as not to over commit and get taken down and win another lopsided decision where he was never in trouble.

    Yeah the fight doesn't present many problems for GSP.

    We'll see him fight the way we're used to--putting his opponent off balance with a mixture of kicks, punches, and take-downs.

    He will be pretty conservative in Jake's guard, though. Might be a Frank Edgar-style take-down, grab the point, get back up.

    Brian Foster has withdrawn from this event after an MRI revealed a brain hemorrhage. Good news is it should heal.

    To compound his bad luck apparently some weeks ago he got kicked in the groin sparring and a ruptured testicle needed to be removed. Yikes.

    The fan expo leading into this event will not only feature UFC stars but also Strikeforce stars including Cung Le, Herschel Walker, and Gilbert Melendez.

    No, it's stupid, I agree completely. The GSP/Penn poster with the flags was cool because of the design, not the fact it was two nationalities. This one is a copycat of that without the elegance and originality.

    The hotel in the Rogers Centre/SkyDome is offering 4-person rooms for about $1300 for the event. The rooms have windows facing the field and would have views, albeit long ones, of the Octagon. No word on whether the event will be on CCTV within the building.

    Considering ticket prices for the event it isn't such a bad deal. What you sacrifice in distance to the Octagon you make up for in privacy and comfort (private bathroom, couches, etc.)

    There are 68 rooms with a view in The Renaissance Toronto Downtown Hotel but I don't know how many are left.
