Hendricks/Ellenberger should be awesome. Lesnar, hated him when he came into the sport, felt bad for him last night. That kind of body damage can't be good for what he has already been through. Good to see him retire with his health still somewhat intact. Overeem's gameplan was perfect. Reem and JDS should be an amazing fight. I think I'm going with Overeem because he's more versatile in his strikes, but wouldn't be surprised at all to see JDS land a haymaker. Nate Diaz looked fucking impressive. I wasn't impressed with Cerrone at all. I think his little leg kicks did no damage. Nate falling made them look worse than they were. Cerrone fucked up by not jumping on Nate there, it was his only chance. Nate is looking more and more like Nick as his game progresses. Future champ, IMO. Hendricks. Awesome.
People who call Johnny Jones arrogant should listen to Alistair Overeem talk for a minute. Don't ever remember Jones calling his knockouts "spectacular".
Lesnar doesn't have a rib injury, rather an unspecific abdominal injury as reported by the NSAC. Seems that he just got kicked and kneed hard enough to make him want to quit. Not hating on him, though--won't be the last time body shots lead to a technical knockout.
Meltzer is reporting that UFC 141 did around 750,000 PPV buys, a major upswing from recent events. As a result Overeem and Lesnar have each grossed $2-3-million.
Gina's stylist must hate when women actually look good. Hollywood douche hat, baggy leather jacket and scarf covering up her assets, and fingerless Rocky Balboa gloves.
