    Cerrone could've stood there after Alvarez went down and demanded that BJM stand him up. If Alvarez couldn't, fight over, TKO. Not sure what he was thinking following him to the ground.

    Probably instinct or a desire to try and sub him. Maybe he knew he had the fight in the bag and Alvarez would be less of a threat to land a fight ending move on the ground?

    Cerrone has some nasty leg kicks...to this day I do not understand why he didn't use them from the start on Nate Diaz.

    Cerrone is a weird fighter...he can look so good through a nice stretch of fights, and then come out and shit the bed in one...

    Cerrone gets punched in the face when he goes for leg kicks when he's facing a good boxer. Even in that gif above he totally drops his hands when he's (over)committing to a kick. Diaz threw him off by having a good reach and jabbing him when he went to kick, IIRC.
