    The ufc needs someone like macgregor. Dude is so fun to watch. Now all the aldo nuthuggers can't say he hasn't fought anybody anymore

    I think the takeaway is to put PPV quality fights on PPV and things will sort themselves out. If that means less PPV cards, do it.

    I think 1 ppv per month would be great. Use the fight nights for #1 contender spots and up and comers.

    A PPV event should be just that, an EVENT, something special. The last few years they've been ravaged by injuries, sure, but they could do what they did tonight more often if they weren't trying to put on so many cards. It's been hard to discern between free shows and PPV's at times.

    Hahaha. Aldo probably pulls out due to injury again. Then they can throw Edgar in the ring against Conor, so Conor can knock him out too. Then sherdog trolls will continue to talk about how much Conor sucks.

    Hope not!

    To insinuate or claim the fight was fixed is ludicrous. McGregor landed a load of heavy body kicks and headshots, Mendes took a risk and lost position, took more damage and went out on a shot that would've dropped a horse.

    If Aldo's not having it, McGregor/Edgar is a pretty spectacular fight. Edgar's never been finished.
