That wasn't the first shot Werdum ate trying to chase Miocic, either. He was bothered by another punch earlier in the round. He didn't learn his lesson, I guess.

Wow! Werdum has been getting a lot of praise lately as the possible heavyweight goat. Pressure get to him or severely outclassed? Lucky punch? I didnt order the ppv this time.

Stipe has had quite the awesome advancement in his ufc career. Its been beautiful watching him get to this moment.

Bit of an anticlimax to finish an otherwise stellar PPV.

Justino talked about wanting to defend her Invicta title after beating Smith. WTF? The last thing the UFC needs is a 145-lbs. division. There is no competition!

Every fight but two won by the Brazilian fighter.

    Yeah, gotta be Reem.

The Werdum/JDS rematch is tantalizing, too. Makes sense for both guys.

Cyborg is such a beast. I dont see anyone being able to stop her. If her and ronda fought at 140, could ronda catch her in an armbar in time?

Yeah, probably. But it was inevitably going to end the same way.

Werdum is a great fighter and loved watching this interview. Love that he gave stipe props instead of saying something about it just being a flash ko or other nonsense. Hope he gets to redeem himself.

I think Miocic/Reem, Werdum/JDS 2 makes too much sense not to do that.

I don't want to see every title tangled up between two fighters every year.

As for welterweight if Stephen Thompson wins I'd sooner see him fight Robbie Lawler than Tyron Woodley or Demian Maia.

Cyborg isn't going to 135. She wants to be the first 145 champion in the UFC. But she is open to catchweight superfights.

    Quick--name ONE other female featherweight.

Miocic/Reem makes a lot of damn sense for UFC 202 or 203. Make that happen. I do think that the UFC will wait to see what happens with Cain Velasquez now. I do not want to see another immediate rematch. Especially in the HW division. Werdum never even defended the title.

Werdum/JDS II is perfect. If not JDS, maybe Werdum vs. the winner of Cain/Browne? Also, Fedor/Werdum II is much more appealing now if the UFC is really (highly doubtful, imo) still speaking with Fedor about a contract.
